I got few lots bot around 1.13 not so much impact up or down. But it is possible for XR to be above $1.10. Thus working backwards today px can range btw $1.16 to $1.25. MY GUESS ONLY. So don't be nervous about the whole thing.
AK, below $1 maybe possible only after XR. That is my guess.
Btw got this feel, Genting may fly like Kepland & Capland during their Right period. Anyway let see what happen latter.

Mega cash calls drain liquidity
A weak US dollar per se may not be the single factor keeping the local
market within a trading band, despite rallies in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Several large cash calls in the form of either rights issues or
placements are holding prices down and draining liquidity, a dealer
reckons. On Wednesday, Genting Singapore
announced a one-for-five rights at 80 cents per share to raise up to
$1.63 billion. Joint financial advisers and lead managers are DBS Bank
and CIMB Bank, Singapore. The joint lead underwriters are DBS Bank,
CIMB-GK, JP Morgan, ABN Amro, Deutsche Bank, HSBC, UBS and CLSA. The
latter’s research had issued a bullish report on Genting, citing a
price target of $3, joining many brokers that had set higher price
targets on expectations that parts of the Sentosa IR could open earlier
before end 2009
This is the most interesting stock in the whole market scene now...
In fact I would go as far as to say that the whole market depends on this one to be sustained for the time being...
If this one tanks... that's it!...

Those bot beyond $1.19, very Jialat, those bot below $1.19, oso jialat, those bot lees than $1.00 is ok only, strike px offer is 0.80ct. 5 for 1 (not free), 0.80 cents lehh. Knowing for 4 days run up till $1.24 cent and don't know what can happen next couple of days, as owner. i will oso call for right (all been pre-prepare), but if i am owner. I can oso call for placement of shares to BBs, (better for me)
Imagine bot 5 lots for $1.19ct ($5,950), pay another $800, total is 6,750/6 lots (average is $1.125 ct). one have to pray hard px don't drop below $1.25 ct (lose money liao) |

GB dropped from RM7.17 to RM6.87, that is 30 sen out of Rm7.17 equivalent to 4.18% drop, so GS may drop by at least 4.18%/0.54=7.75%.
