Hi singaporegal (Veteran and SiFu)

Sorry to bother you again.

Today's vol (10 Aug) is pretty high.....about 1.4mil traded...but somehow the chart does not show this.

William R% shows an upturn...although still very oversold..

In your experience, which is a better leading indicator...Acc/Dist, RSI or William R%?

Thanks

Hi shplayer,

This is my take on this counter -
(1) Low volume and too cheap ... so TA may not be accurate
(2) Acc/Dist and RSI downtrending so price will probably fall some more

singaporegal,

Can you give your take on this counter? Seems highly oversold...but could this be due to the recent xd of 5 cts less 20% tax?

Thanks

Shui On Land roadshow started.....see today's BT.

Share price to be offered at between HKD5.60 anf 7.55.

Metro has 50 million preferential shares.

thanks, guys.

my assessment is there are many buyers quietly nibbling on the stock. gains are slowly but steadily pushing up.

lausk22,

I agree with singaporegal, can hold on. I am no chartist..but my investment decisions are based on fundementals. If you are in no big need for the money, perhaps you can wait outcome of th Shui Onn float......meantime you got 5% (after tax - based on your purchase price) div yield to collect......just my personal opinion.

Sorry, missed out div yield...5cts less 20% tax....so net div is 4cts which gives yield of 5%.

Lets put this in perspective.

Based on current share price of 80cts....

NAV $1.035, disc on NAV is 22.7%

eps 24.48cts of which 19cts is exceptional item (i.e. non recurring) => recurring eps is 5.48 cts.

Hence, based on recurring eps, P/E is 14.6x

Co has bonds in a HK property based developer, Shui On Land which is planning to list sometime this FY. Bond is convertable to shares....so Metro can expect to reap another round of 'exceptional gains'. How much this will be? I do not have any feel....perhaps someone can throw some light on this?

tq pikachu

but PE ratio is low 3.3. Fundamentals look good and sound. low volume cld be due to the stock being tightly held by main shareholders.

Hi lausk22,

from what i see in the TA charts, the trend seems uncertain. also the volume not very high. i've seen other penny stocks who has volume much higher than Metro.

i suggest a wait and see approach.

Price @ 80 cents with 5c dividend worked out to >6%yield. Appears to be a good buy?
