The future of palm oil is still gd. The show just begun so sit back & relax. Investor 38, saw all your posting in Golden Agri, tks for all your research, should pay off in no time.
Yes, pick up 20 lots liao, thanks for all your helpful info , Zhuge Liang, Investor 38, Freeme, AK Big profit for all vested in palm oil.

Hi All, as the price for cpo correlated to first, wilmar, indo agri and gold agri , just find it funny . why would there be so many selling at 100k , 100k . so on .
hehe.. hi 38, Yup i read ur posting.. and agreed with you. The rebound is coming soon..
golden and 1st res reach their base price liao. the reason i chose 1st res bec 0.9-0.93 based hold very strongly. Downside quite limit. Golden also near their recent lows liao. If enter at 0.82-0.84 range also can consider downside very limited.
The only one is Indoagri, their strong support is at 1.8!

However,.... all stocks will at least be two cents higher... so there is still chance to sell on strength....
huat ar.....

a big fall again
not for the weak heart though
The fundamentals of this stock looks good. First, the rising demand for palm oil will sustain for a long time to come, according to Jim Rogers. Second, First Resources is the largest private palm oil producer in Indonesia, and is gg to expand its business to biofuels, which starts commencing in 2008 2nd quarter..(correct me if i am wrong..) Third, First Resources has a relatively large landbank.. its trees are young, and some areas are not developed yet. It looks like business set to grow...
However, the doubled and progressive export duty imposed by Indo make it difficult for palm oil producers to consolidate and increase productivity.. First Res might also end up seeing their revenues drop as they are forced to absorb some of the impact of higher taxes. Yet, increase in export taxes on palm oil might also see futher increase in world palm oil prices, as majority of Indonesia's palm oil are exported..
Another risk concerning palm oil investments is environmental risks.. The Roundtable on Sustainable Oil (RSPO) is 'close to' but has not finalized a system for auditing palm oil mills and plantations.. The system will be rolled out in the next few months.. What will be its impact then?
I am holding some First Res shares.. Anyone care to comment on the short and long term prospects of this stock....? Interested to know your opinions.
