unifiber's prices not strong enough to break out of formation in a quick-correction market. We'll see in May then.

In 2009, UNIFIBRE was awarded another S$115 Million contact for Sophia Project too.

This is a S$199 Million Bukit Timah Project.

There was another Johore Bahru Project in Malaysia.

There is still another Billion dollar Middle East Project.

All the good projects are in the pipeline........

United Fiber Secures a S$191 Million Building Contract from GuocoLand Group

Description

The Board of Directors of United Fiber System Limited (“Unifiber”) is pleased to announce that Poh Lian Construction Pte Ltd (“PLC”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Unifiber has been awarded a building contract from the GuocoLand Group, for the erection of 12-Storey Condominium Development on Lot 598 TS 26 located at Bukit Timah Road, Newton Planning Area (the “Project”).

The contract sum of the Project is S$191 million and the construction period is 30 months from the contract’s commencement date.

The Project is expected to contribute positively to the Group in 2010 but not expected to have any material impact on the Group’s current year results.

Save as disclosed above, none of the Directors, controlling shareholders or substantial shareholders of the Company has an interest, direct or indirect, in the above Project.

the advance is already old news. the new news is pohlian profitability will be improved by leap and bound and with current abundance of liquidity refinancing in unlikely to be a problem. good luck to all invested Smiley
