Still seems supported. Even if throwout some for contra or shortterm trade good to keep a core position to hold for longterm gains as methinks SAR has postential to go to $5+.
Who is this guy below got picture of himself one?

The Labor Department reported initial jobless claims rose to a seasonally-adjusted 429,000 in the week ending April 23.
That was sharply higher than the average analyst estimate of 390,000.
The Labor Department revised slightly upward the prior week's claims number to 404,000.
The department gave no explanation for the unexpected rise in the weekly indicator on the jobs market.
The four-week moving average, which helps to smooth volatility, was 408,500 claims, an increase of 9,250 from the prior week. The average had been below the 400,000 threshold for eight consecutive weeks.
The US unemployment rate fell to 8.8 per cent in March, its lowest level in two years, as the economy struggles to recover from recession.

Xstrata to move sales team to Singapore from Sydney
" Xstrata (XTA.L), the world’s largest producer of thermal coal for export, is planning to move its marketing and commercial sales teams to Singapore from Sydney to meet growing Asian demand, sources familiar with the matter said. Xstrata said it is considering opening an office in Singapore to take advantage of key Asian growth markets, but stopped short of confirming that it plans to make the move."
Wah, Thermal coal getting   hot, what Xstrata up to.

straits asia moved into over bought zone with a big jump in prices today..
suggest to take profit if straits asia rallies further..

SAR  jumped up very fast, so of cos can pullback from 2.90+, however I think this stock got a long way to go, I m hoping it will go to $5+ eventually. Cos the earnings and new production from the Northern Leases will eventually justify much higher price. If production from Northern Leases can eventually contribute another 4-5MT, then if SAR coal production up by 40-50%, profit may go up even much higher from here. So instead of profit up 270%, maybe profit up 400-450%(assuming same costs and margins and no problems). Tio boh???
Even if pullback from here, think it will not pullback much cos of the very strong earnings--SAR now  attracting a lot of strong buyers and funds as new buyers who r betting SAR will go to much higher prices. They won't sell so fast, n everytime it dip down they will buy.  In SGX this is probably the best stock after kepcorp n sembmarine(both look a bit tired now cos overinvested by market). Why? Look at Noble--their business got so many things is hard to guess how they will do. Olam--never do accounting properly n got so many countries do biz in. For a resources stock, SAR might be the best on SGX.
When stock going up on new and very strong FA, IMO, give it more of a chance n dont follow shortterm sell indications, unless u r trading shortterm or contra. Those who sold when it jumped up to 2.80+ some days ago probably did not buy back in time to take the next spurt up to 3.00.
The way things r going, if SAR dont have problems, likely they will make 20cts+ EPS this year. And maybe more next year, since more production, but this hard to say cos nobody know economy how next year. For a high growth stock, under 15XPER is generally considered cheap. with 60% payout ratio, dividend could be 12-15cts.
I consider SAR investment grade stock n most important, it has high growth prospects and market is not overinvested in it.

Gap analysis i no good at it . So no comment . IT is good to know but i still think it is history.
I think when i look at G13 gap last year, it never fill up, it go up. and up . Basing of this, i think market force trend to look for.
