hmm..I read the TODAY paper..it seems to indicate that Rights issue is for acquition or oversea investment...not really due to sg IR casino project cost over-run...that could b a reason for the stable strong buy up? anyway hovering ard 1.12 now...haha... :P

Bloomberg: Genting Singapore slumps 5% after announcing rights offer
Genting Singapore Plc, building one of two casinos in the island nation, sank 5% in stock trading after saying it plans to raise as much as $1.63 billion in a rights offer. The stock, which was halted from trading yesterday, dropped 5% to $1.13 as of 9:18 a.m. in Singapore.
The rights issue aside, I still see a lot of buy-ups in the market. So this is not bad after all.
