hi bros here. i m new in trading.
i have long CFD for genting sp 3 weeks ago, but i have some questions.
1. Does CFD receive dividends like shares?
2. Does CFD need to pay tax just like holding shares?
Thank you in advance bros.
The two Casino is not afraid of that $100 entrance fee, they are only afraid of you not coming. The $100 fee can be offset by many free goodies such as free one night stay at hotel, free one night entrance to shows, free $100 chips, free $100 for jackpot into members' cashcard & many others.
For foreigners, can claim mileage, toll fees & petrol to max of RM$300.
By giving you the $100 back, they can squeeze you for a thousand & more.

Gov will tax them Gambling organization higher compare to other business.
Thus the $100, i thk will be given to Genting SP. Not gov. Bc Genting already paying the heavy tax.

That $100 case, maybe they will thk of a way to re-solve in future.
Maybe in terms of free one day hotel stay.
That $100, i thk should not be a problem.
As for IR related to Genting is different. People view Genting highly in future term. Chinese & Ah moh like gambling.
No doubts u will see lots of people flooding in. So that will mean more money flowing to them as profit....hahaha.
As there is a chinese term: Shi Du Jiu Shu (in english: 10 people go in gamble, 9 will loss)
Cheers.
can a retail investor make a pile from this counter by holding it till it turns into a blue chip ? I doubt so..unless they know how to take profit during run-up.........a retailer investor had ploughed in 60 cents a share for the last rights, now another 80 cents......
at the end of the day, it is still better to take stock and moderate your bets -- i am concerned cos' I heard many working singaporeans expecting it to be a blue chip above $2....

Thanks.

Then wait for a while, it won't take too long for the next rumour to arrive, sell ur share by selling into strength, watch the rumour goes into high pitch where volume oso surge in it peak to unusual peak level, say beyond 100m share to 200m share suddenly, like yesterday traded patten - people's is buying / selling from $1.08ct to $1.17ct. (Hope it help)

It closed well at $1.14 cents However take care...Ya More then 3x more then 1st run up (Oceanus), it volume hit a spectacular of 395,813,000 shares. It mean there is speculative element in buying/selling and on contra basic. |
Hi ,thanks for the advice.Actually have been holding it for almost 2years,only waiting for the right time to let go some and get back capital then switch to another share...at least better than put in the bank for the miserable FD rate.
Regards

The best part is yet to come, for U have to wait for the rumour to arrive, like for example, Gent SP is getting those license, this is to sell into strength when alot of people's will start chasing it (called it buy high / sell higher - selling on hope), sell on good news and not after the news.
To me this is not hope, is gambling in trying to make a few cent.

Game is over for Genting. Take profit and switch to Midas, Ezra, Boustead, Hiap Seng, Ezion and Hotung |
Today (Fri) an another 30minutes to go....Genting SP is drifting down to....Bot at $1.13, 10 lots = $11300, less COMMISSION + 2 rights at 80cts = ($11300 + 1600) will be $12960 (Total 14 lots after ex-right. Breakeven $1.075...PRICE WILL DEFINITELY DROP slowly but surely due to dilution of shares in market.
