Genting falls in Malaysia after shares trade ex-dividend

Genting Bhd. Asia’s biggest listed casino operator, fell to a 12-day low after the shares went ex-dividend, meaning that investors buying the stock from today won’t be entitled to its interim dividend of 3 sen a share.

The stock slid 1.2% to 7.05 ringgit ($2.89) at 9:55 a.m. in Kuala Lumpur, set for the lowest level since Sept 16.

I think best time to re-enter this share will be after the rights are fully issued.  The BBs' tp can only be reality after that.  Immediate price ranging should be in a 10 cent range, btw $1.05 to $1.15. 

 

There are some target at, like (some deem too low) Genting - Target price of SGD1.35 - BNP Paribas, while some BBs target at $1.60 - $2/- by six mths, some at $3/- (THIS ANALYST IS CLEARLY OUT OF HIS MIND. IT WILL BE 3 DOLLARS BY MONTH END. A call by CLSA), some at 5/- and somewhat at $8/-, d later is for long term. Which is which ?. Meanwhile this three days cooling period has px falling to $1.12ct.

There will be another upto 2,043,716,094 Rights Shares for trading in coming day, while some is calling...sianz.

Till holding period, can play on.....Where number is not important can be 1.00, 1.10 or even 1.20ct, this is holding period to make it reasonable to vest so by juz about it, happy trading, once BBs finish their money making enuff, volume will drop, then can consider buying at lower px.

 

Huh, so good have sold partly my Genting two days before with Sgd. 0.04/share pocket moneys, this time about 4000 lots. Intended buying back on Monday!

If you purchase GEN_SP R200, you will still need to pay in full, meaning the $0.80 per share, to subscribe to the shares, before the closing date.   I believe this is how it works, so please correct me if i'm wrong :)
