ha ha Geojam....welcome again...!!!  many thanks for promoting my services.....btw, we can start a business... you market, I do the photo taking...::: how how  ...??

many thanks idesa168... one day i try.. then when they accept I know I have arrived... that will be the day... meanwhile I have my simple pleasure to know I have got that nice shot.... e.g that hawk eagle...to see that glimp of its eye... and then catching it in flight...at the right focus... i did have my fix...

hi Eastonbay... i really dont know about that.I dont think he is senile... he has a lot of steam it would appear .. in fact too much... perhaps he can blame the administration, but he has got his pay... if he was so concerned about free spending etc  and well meaning he should have resigned.. . that guy has really lost my respect...  but like $$come$$go says what do you expect from a guy who hero worships  Ayn Rand and her

''My philosophy, in essence, is the concept of man as a heroic being, with his own happiness as the moral purpose of his life, with productive achievement as his noblest activity, and reason as his only absolute."

the above translate into " an self serving arse hole"

cks, this is what happens when one gets old, senile, insecure, self serving, unfortunately. We must agree that a lot of things were forced on him too.. by Bush administration and Republican dominated house in the past few years. The republican almost single handedly killed his legacy. Record budget deficit etc etc... of course he's to be blamed because he is the one who allowed the administration to spend freely in order to keep his job as fed chairman. Now he turns around to say that the free spending admin is killing USA.

CKS, I saw your pictures of Africa. Very well and professionally taken. I am sure these pictures worth some $$. Try posting to companies like Discovery Channel, Lonely Planet or Insight Guides. I am sure there will be some use for these images.

ya loh.. he was responsible for creating the situation that allowed the sub prime market to develop (and never control it claiming it cannot be done) and now somemore he come around to spout advice when he is not liable .... I am beginning to think he is a self serving person..

Hi CKS,

how about sharing some of your favourite pixs...

meanwhile we also wait with abated breadth what the Fed is gona do tomorrow......

it is so ironic... we always have to watch the elephants... and pick the worms that they stirr up as they walk by... that is the story of the cattle egrets.. those white birds we see even in Singapore nowadays..

hi Singaporegal, I think I would not be around to post the pics if I had stood near as I would have to with a normal camera/lens. The animals are wild, even the buffalo would gore me, and the elephants would tramble me flat....

yes I was using a 500mm lens with Canon 30D and I was in a modified range rover (special open top)

Hi chinkiasu,

Did you have to get close to the animals to take such shots? Or were you using a zoom lens?

oops the two monkey gods didn't show up.. Two contrasting pic of monkey god I took during this trip. I've got to ask cks how he does his.. the other way is to put up the photos on the web and paste a link.. that will take time..

anyway, thanks for all the welcome msgs.

Singaporegal: I am hunting my next exotic destination. Running out of ideas. I visited Tibet last July. So I have done both that are high up in my list. Unlike cks who travels very frequently.. I can only do this once a year!

Choohian: yes, I remember you of course.. you don't post often these days.. (maybe you do, but I haven't been reading)

Giantlow: why..? we miss you posts.. and your sense of humour.
