i think BB cannot be wrong, rather than patterns & charts, market movers are still the BB, not the charts.. a super rich dude can just screw all those people trading with charts.. just that often, BB are also trading with charts and charts are usually a result of their trading patterns

Traders who don't trade in Sg stocks is trading in HSI structured warrants.   These indices are very volatile and present good opportunity for making and losing money.   Only those who know about warrants should only try these because although rewarding may also be capable of wiping out your investments. Call warrants are for bulls and Put warrants are for bears. Always note two important things in the warrants.   Date of expiration and strike price.

On expiry, is the warrants are in the money, they will pay you according to the difference but if at the money and out of money, you get nothing and the warrants expire.   Before expiry you buy and sell if there is a profit. You may also cut loss by selling off the warrants that is losing money for you.

Try small, don't play big on warrants as they fluctuate big.

After some thoughts again, I have different conclusion. On How I see Mirach Many peoples have made quite a good profit on Mirach since it started to move. With this kind of super rise, my experience tells me that many will vomit out most of the profits by continue to buy Mirach as it dip, thinking that it will rebound and chiong like last time. Even if I think so, I still tried when I feel that there is buying power. I tried 2 times and cut 2 times very fast. But still I don't want to accept that. I bought again today when it started to chiong and sell 60% of it when it dip below 0.40.  Hand itchy. In fact, when a counter chiong like that as if going to break guiness world record, it will  likely to continue to drop slowly...  up a bit and drop more...like move forward 2 steps and move  back 3 steps. It should go down until people vomit most of their profits and loss confident of this counter, then it will starts to move up if it really have potential. But today's strong  move up(before the curb news leak) really surprise me. I thought today it should drop to test 0.355. I'm still thinking  whether todays's  move is a real chiong or is it BBs trying to  unload before the curb announcement. But it looks like a real chiong to me. On How I see Mirach after Curb I believe today's chiong is real looking at how it was traded. Therefore,  I believe tomorrow BBs will not allow Mirach to drop jialat. One more thing to take into consideration. Some peoples would have receive the news of curb and that's why we see more than 3000 lots matched sold. My question is this. with the curb news leak, who are the one matched buy the 3000lots at 0.395?.  I don't believe they are all from retailers. I believe most are from BBs. So for tomorrow,  there may be some knee jerk reaction from retailers trying to get out when market open. So it will likely to open gap down  either matched at 0.375 or 0.355 which are the supports.  0.355 support is stronger and should be able to hold. If the price were to dip to 0.355, it should be able to rebound. There is a possibility that it may move back to 0.395. That's how I feel after some serious thoughts. I still have some Mirach. Initially thought of matched sell tomorrow. But now I will look at it first. My analysis is a risky one because mostly counter kena  curb  usually goes down. I always believe in this " Always expect the unexpected" . CNA will also  likely to be affected tomorrow as we can see how it matched close because of this Mirach curb news. I will try smaller lots on CNA tomorrow when peoples are selling. CNA's previous resistancce is 0.245. Since it has crossed this price, it becomes a support. I will queue buy some CNA at 0.245. I will fight with it. If I'm wrong, it is ok. We pay to learn! Good night and huat ah!

 

Bro novice_trader, let me share my thought.

What I'm doing now is using so called " pyramid" method. Buy a small % at the price and test the market first. If confirmed up, buy some more. I believe a lot of bro/sis are doing so. Say for example if I want to buy 50 lots, I'll throw in 20 first, followed by 10 or 20 next. Try to keep minimum lots if you're not sure (in fact nobody can be sure unless during aggressive chiong). Of course if you're accurate at the first stage, you won't get as much profit as you planned for, but at least minimise your exposure first.

If unfortunately the price came down, I'll see where is the next support, measure against the split and brokage. If the gap is  far from  these 2 factors, I'll cut loss first and wait until it reaches the nexr support, otherwise will hold for the next rebounce. If still got bullet (there is why small lots first), charge in another lots at the next support level to average out. At least can cut some losses when it goes up, even though may not reach your initial buying price.

Unless really sua sua all the way down, then better cut loss completely and get out of it.

Just my little experience after so much of  failure.

Any bor/sis may share to improve this strategy.
