To sell now or to hold??????........pls advise

Singapore-listed coal miner Straits Asia said on Wednesday that Thailand's PTT International , will make a mandatory conditional cash offer for all Straits Asia shares.

The move comes after PTT completed the acquisition of 60 percent of Australia's Straits Resources' unit, Straits Bulk & Industrial Pty Ltd, which holds a stake in Straits Asia, as well as coal assets in Brunei and Madagascar, in a deal worth up to $335 million.

Straits Asia said J.P. Morgan will be conducting the mandatory cash offer on behalf of PTT International at a price of S$0.807 per share, valuing the company at around S$882 million.

Trading in Straits Asia's shares were halted on Tuesday pending the completion of the deal and last traded at S$1.09.

 

it have reach 1.19..intra day,and yesterday almost all counter down due to flu scare...so??

But it havce already trigger my sell px, so it is over for me, i take little profit and run..

no longer vested..but i dont know why halt...

sorry some error...should be gold correction from 920 to between 760 to 800...end sept..

That is becos this is a good counter..

this counter currently is the one of the  stock to long...i see oil topping $65 to $75 come July..base on my reading...DYODD..

if this come abt,  this mining stock will soar..also suggest to hold oil and energy stock...sembmarine..EZRA.....my short term px for this bugger, Strait Asia is 2.0...

Buy more, and even if this didnt materialse, it is still a good counter to long, better than me buying centillion and jade to gamble...it oay good div also.

I feel sorry for you for  losing money shorting this one, but i really make buying at 90c sold 113..

You said you are sad, but i can feel sad for you for losing big time from 80c till now...and the way u post do look sad to me also.

To be happy, i recommend u buy in now..join me, dont short...i q to buy earlier..look 1000 lots over take up so fast aroud 11.30...fantastic..

my dear friend, you didn't answer my question at all.... when u want to short a counter, u can say the company has no fundamental, worth 30 cents , blar blar blar, and that can be turnaround in just few weeks ???  or months (perhaps 1, or 2 months) after you "RECOVERED" your short position, and become a strong company? that's totally bullshit la.. come on..
