try lor.... meaning queue to buy at 1.80-1.805? stoploss at 1.78-1.785? target profit = 1.84?

like that reward/risk ratio = 2

lol reward/risk ratio just nice hit my minimum

Gaecia      ( Date: 15-Jul-2011 09:37) Posted:

i think 1.85 will breach, then when the gap is filled we go hop lah and sell on actual day before market closes for earnings (when huh?). This strategy can do or not?

eastcivic      ( Date: 15-Jul-2011 09:33) Posted:

hmmm hop on now.... then stoploss at 1.83-1.835?

but what are the chances of the gap being closed?

if i can remember correctly(i can't be sure), the book that i read said that all gaps need to be closed...... how true is this? if this is true, then probabilty of being stopped out if we enter now is quite high le

'Disappearing queues' may not be fake at all...

Big players can also change their miind

anytime during play, as they assess the

market situation. Thus, just like small

players, they can also withdraw their

orders at a whim when they feel justified,

especially when they also keep up closely

                                                    with latest news, etc...  Smiley

Of course... you are right there...

But as long as one can curb one's tendency to " gian-gian"

to make money, one should be okay and survive longer

in the market. But no matter what, the market

is always better than us.... Smiley

Maybe more QEs will have the reverse effect now and in future?

since it tends to add to one of the the causes of the recent meltdown...

Thus, QE announcements may not be regarded as good news... Smiley

Ask you all yup, even if there is to be QE3... isn't alot of smart money whether by local or foreign institutions going to be parked in US equities? From what i could recall, last Nov was the  onset of liquidity drain from HK, Singapore and many emerging Asian markets ie. Jakarta. We were wondering what happened everyday  back then when US cheong  on a daily basis  while we see see-saw wedges every now and then.

If really got QE3 i will also want to ride the stimulus in the right place, wouldn't you?
