thanks everyone here for the encouragement. Shall not think of the bedok reservoir then, anyway i have no real guts to jump down, just a thought only thats all. Feeling very stupid  becos i could have avoided the falling knives, if i had just waited a while longer to see the mkt picture clearer and give it more thought. I should have seen the avalanche coming when the 3 si lang counters started having troubles, but i chose to ignore the early signs thinking that  the pull back was just brief and temporary & wont  last long. Who knows, that is just the start only. Heck me.

Yea,  think its better for me  not to look at the mkt anymore, but still a heaviness  will weigh  on my heart for months to come, or even years. Even dont see dont think dont look, once in a while will still feel  sad, becos my work is  in this related industry. How can i totally avoid contact? Change my job?

Aside to Jarol, yes stock market always up and down. Now down doesn't mean foreover won't come back applies to blue chips & stocks with backing. Just leave  the stocks  there may just let it go to rot inside the grave.  How long u want me to wait? 5 yrs,  10yrs? 15 yrs? Dont forget what i  bought  are speculative stocks  like  mirach & hankore  which are pennies. Pennies once dumped may never see the sun ever again. Remember the S-chips saga? Till now, i know many  old  uncles & aunties are still holding on to the S-chips bought in 2007  super bull years. All slumped down 90% and remain there until now cannot see daylight. Cut loss or hold makes no real difference then. Most of them. Go to agms, shout quarrel  f*** the directors.  What else can they do? I dont want to follow their footsteps.

Do you guys think that pennies really have FA? mirach got oil, hankore got water... dunnoe whether is it delusions made up by the management. I shall take up pauperman advice  & wait for 3 months see how. See quarterly results make any impact on share prices or not. If not, pennies are just  for speculation. No matter how good, market will not recognise & throw away at the first temble.

See other stocks never tumble jin kek sim. As i speak, mine are still dropping. I only left with $3k cash. I dunnoe how to face my fiancee & parent. Going  back to my forte which is soccer bet and try to recover my losses bit by bit. I know its hard work & takes long time. At least it is not manipulated like stock market. Can eke out decent gains if we work hard to study  analysis with a bit of luck. But Stocks? Designed to suck you dry. Study FA also no use  if the BBs chose to ignore. If i heng heng got chance to offload everything with a decent loss, i will go close my cdp trading account liao.

 

time will correct most things, if not everything Spivvy. But it will not bring you back to life, ever. So please take things easy and dont do anything rash or stupid. If you think your life is only worth few tens or hundreds of thousands, you are selling yourself cheap.

Bro don't give up yet, I know how u feel,. I am holding YhM since 64. A counter can drop, but how much can it drop. As long as we can hold, one day it will come back. Cheers bro

Indeed, it is heart wrenching to see stocks just falling down and down day by day ..

Bro, stock market always up and down. Now down doesn't mean foreover won't come back. As long you are not playing contra, and if you preferred not to cut NOW, just leave it there. Will come back even you've to wait longer. Your life is long enough to see the day unless you decided to give up your life. And your life is more valuable than the bloody money.

I don't know whether you're single or married. Whatever it is, always ask yourself: DO YOU WANT YOUR LOVE ONES CRYING IN FRONT OF YOUR GRAVE? You can avoid it if you want to, your choice.

People always said, as long problems can be resolved by money, it is not regarded as serious problem. （ 钱 能 解 决 的 问 题 就 不 是 什 么 大 问 题 ). Money is for you to live, not to suffer.

I was once having much bigger lobang than you, or anybody in this thread, when I was playing forex in mid 20s. Ever loss coming to a million USD, fought back and down to US$200K plus, decided to quit. Managed to pay back everything within 5 years when I decided to take up oversea assignment job. Now back to normal with happy family. Recently loss another tens of thousands, gave me the conclusion that no contra for me. Not that contra is no good but just that my character is not suitable for it.

So important thing now is you've to take a step back, consolidate what you have and what you want, move on from there. Just tell yourself,  even if you're in negative NTA now, SO WHAT, people can't kill you  or through you into the jail. Unless you decided to give up, which to me is the most cowardice act to escape the problem.  You want to set this bad example to you kids and make them shameful for you throughout their entire life?

Its your call to decide. Make sure you make the wise decision.

Market very quiet,,,,,,short already short ,,,,,,some even test the low and rebound,,,,,,,some just follow down,,,,,but no volume,,,,actually just like May correction time ,,,,,,,,so reverse bound back either this afternoon or coming day,,,,,,,prepare the time but not now,,,,,,,,,,,

Money lost can earn back. This saga made me lose a lot of money too. But I know... the market will always bounce back! Give it time to recover.  Market will bottom out very soon. When the rebound comes... it will be very fast and swift. Go study the charts of major market corrections. They always bounce back up after few months. Just give it time to go back up. No point because of tens of thousands u wanna end it all.

Sis, I am Malaysian, so didn't know what is Bedok all about. Had to ask people to find out. I have only one question for you. Is life so cheap?

Sorry if I sound harsh adding to your problem. But honestly, if you think you had made a big mistake, you shall never cover it with another bigger mistake. It just does not work. God bless.

if you have already hold....you might just off your comp and go do your work and earn money back...should be better ba as we dont know when the flush going to be over...staring at comp wont move too..but work...cfm will have money in...
money can earn back...not just settle in bedok or what..lose money then go earn money back and clear debt is more practical ba...
