Genting Bhd IPO 1971 @ RM2.00 = S$2.00
In 1971 Singapore, fried noodle was S$0.30 and today is S$3.00.
RM2.00 = S$20.00 today.
Genting SP today is S$1.30
Check out the World Resorts Sentosa today, it is 6-STAR Standard
compared to Genting Highlands today, that is 4-STAR Standard.
So Genting SP in 5 years' time........S$10........S$13........S$20........

Hey guys, do u think the recent share rally for overall share market will be in shorten period as most of the shares' price already up or over the full value? How much or percentage you think the share market can go up? I hope not to get stuck and be the last person in the music chair game...
the support of this baby is 1.24 :) Will try to cross $1.30 tomorrow

The tug of war is getting interesting. Top value stock traded today at $227mil compared to second high Swiber, 40mil. All eyes are on Genting again...

I am very tired in the tug of war and decided not to take the risks at the price level. I have sold all my shares and wish you guys all the best. See you again when the price drop to 1.08, bye.
If one is holding only 'kacang puteh lots', then this is a practical method to play...
But when one has significant amounts at stake in the market, that way to play is a suicidal method to say the least...

I think the major issue is not any bad news but "the current price has already taken into account of the factors of opening of the casino". This mean any price higher than 1.30 will be considered as too expensive before this counter shows any income in the financial report (and it may not happen in the following 2 quarters).
What's the " Some "not-so-good" news will be coming very soon...! " ?
