0731 GMT [Dow Jones] STOCK CALL: CLSA reiterates positive view on Genting Singapore (G13.SG) after the gaming company says hotels at its new integrated resort Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) will open on Jan. 20. Broker says opening of RWS ahead of rival casino offering Marina Bay Sands will mean RWS enjoys a 100% market share for some months, which bodes well for margins. Believes Singapore's new integrated resorts will be more successful than the market expects; "adding large-scale casino resorts in the middle of a large and affluent Asian city with full government support has all the ingredients for success." But notes no confirmation yet from Genting as to when casino will open, broker currently expects casino to open on Feb. 1, says would be disappointing if casino was not open before Chinese New Year period in mid February. Adds recently announced junket rules for Singapore gaming market tough but as expected. Maintains Buy call and S$1.50 target price. Shares flat at S$1.28. (KIG) |
The age-old exhortation of "sell on the good news" is a good general guide for when to cash out...
But the problem is we can't really predict the future that accurately, maybe there's better good news ahead? ...
However, my prediction that the 'tai-tai market' will dry up may be accurate in view of the fact that what tycoons really want is more and more easily available in this ever-evolving modern world of equal behaviour...
hehehee...

Hehe, I thought u were talking about a Genting wave c of B. Was scratching my head where to find it.
But still, nice of you to have explained it.

Your question means "how does my posted Genting chart correspnd to the STI wave c of B" right?
My answer : Not all STI components move in the same waves up and down together. If you keep a close eye on wave movements for the 30 component stocks regularly, you'd have noticed that the finanance and property stocks broke out of their triangles into their current last waves even before STI broke out. Genting broke out recently. Now, the laggards component stocks like Kepcorp, Olam, Wilmar, are breaking out soon or have started. Genting should spot an extended 5th wave, which will bring everyone into a speculatie frenzy (just look at many forummers shouted the higher and higher TP !). The non-confirmation this round should be the banks and property counters followed by Genting. Commodities, oil and gas, maybe also shipping sectors (cosco already broke out recently) should rally into the final stages of the STI rally.

But happily, with the Internet and googalization still changing the our world so fast,
it is a sure bet that even the 'tai-tai market' will be dwindling fast too,
as good things become more and more easily available to the masses ...
The world never had it so good before!... hehehe...

Not only Uncles and Aunties,
But also to the loaded Tai-tais...
Because they can fall even harder by losing other people's money!... hehehe...

This is the most exciting baobei stock of the year!
Exactly like dealing with real darling baobei's in real life, one must be really smarty not to be caught with pants down!
Or worse, with one'e wallet and bank account both empty!...
But if one treats it as only some exciting fun, but not bet one's future on it, then one is real smarty!... hehehe...

Uncles & Aunties must be very careful when they rush out the exit door.
Be very cautious not to fall.
Falling from Genting , very very chiat luck
Cheers

Not only Genting...
The proper way to play any stock is to get in and OUT (and not only when you are ahead)!
You can get in and out once a day, once a week, once a month, once a year, once every two years, once every 5 years, once every 10 years...
The point is, you choose your time frame...
But for gard's sake, please get OUT when the time is right!...

thanks for good analysis. No dividend because more money needed for working capital, etc. only hope for investors is capital gain and that depends on BB push strategy and u will be at their mercy. At such a price tag today, i would rather go for some good and un-noticed ctr...
