Nowadays, when broker says Sell, better wait and buy.. out of how many percent people losses just following blindly to thier news.. better do own research.. else they will tell u the TP is for 12 months ahead.. then you will be totallly shit..

With the Dow's poor showing last night, today may be a "lao sai" day for the STI...

Nowadays, investment centers (eg. POEMS) are quite empty... not much people there...

When the so-called 'green dung flies' come buzzing back, only then can one expect
a new bull run... Smiley

Why chuck this chappy?

This is one great stock, (among many) for active traders to carve happy
profits frequently... Smiley

Report of SGX from DMG.

Average Daily Turnover (ADT) has fallen from the peak of $3.03b in Oct 07 to $1.80b in May 08 and $1.54b for the first two weeks of Jun 08. The ADT reduction can be partly attributed to investors' increasing concern on growth in the light of surging inflation from higher commodity prices.

We also noted that the average value per share traded has been rising over the past few months. From a low of $0.67 in Jun/Jul 07, it has steadily risen to $1.31 in the first two weeks of Jun 08. This reflects an increased trading share coming from the blue-chips and a lower share from penny stocks. It could suggest that retail trading interest has been weakening (retailers typically trade the lower value penny stocks).

We have lowered our FY08F ADT (including structured warrants trading) from $2.36b to $2.24b to take into account the recent weakness in stockmarket turnover. Our FY09F ADT has also been lowered from $2.05b to $1.90b. Correspondingly, we have reduced our FY08F net profit by 5.3%. Our FY09F net profit is also cut by 5.9%.

Target price cut to $6.20, from $6.60 previously. Our fair price of $6.20 is pegged to 18x FY09 EPS. We used a 18x multiple, which is a slight premium to the 16x that SGX traded in FY05, when securities market turnover fell 15% yoy – our assumption is that FY09 securities ADT will fall 15% yoy to $1.90b. SGX remains a SELL.

7.78 looks ok to enter. remember.... to cut loss if its goes below.

7.78 seems like a good entry. BUT..... if u enter at 7.78, remember to cut loss if its fall further.. support is at 6.26. Looking at the current indicators, its pretty bad.

OK managed to get some @7.32. Nowadays, SGX is for trading only, cannot keep too long...lots of shortist around. I am one of them, but I am the beri small one, there are many besar one...if they were capable to short SGX from from $16.00 to now $7.30, I am sure they are capable of doing the same thing and let SGX go under water @5.00.

Idesa168... :)

In view of the Dow's  great performance on Friday's session, a rebound on Monday is in the works.
Your profit is virtually assured. This is where you can classically "sell on the rebound".

Regarding lots to play, I remember a time when I was with my broker watching his screen at
ShentonWay... he used to bet "300 lots" (sa-ba liap) at one go without batting an eyelid.
He's doing well.

Thus, one's rewards can also be gauged by the amount one bets. If one can afford to bet big, one wins big (it's all a matter of betting). If losing a few hundred K's is affordable to one, then that's no big deal.

On the other hand, if slogging for small gains is one's cup of tea, then it will bring tremendous satisfaction too... Smiley
