wat is the diff between the bond converted share price n the current share price? Does it mean that 0.95 is how much the share is worth aft conversion of bonds? Or is it the actual worth of the share now?
So it's approx 30% gain for these bond holders.

Ipunter mean he shorted sell at 1.28, so if genting increase, he will cut loss at price of 1.32 by buying back genting.

Genting price is stable & strongly supported @ 1.20
The 450 million Mandatory Convertible Bonds allow the bond holders to convert @ 0.95 cents per share. Simply put it this way, this gives the value of 321 million which give a gain of 129 million to Genting. This is a positive news :)
you are waiting for it to rise to 1.32 then sell or you have already sold at that price?

The key issue is the price tomrrow. Will it lao sai straight away to $1? or just before the bond holders decision?
These bond holders, wat's their initial price?

the market performed badly last week. today fall also because the DOW fell by 200+ last Friday. tonight DOW should rise after going down for so many days......moreover DOW Fut is positive at 87. So Genting may move higher tmr and may also test 1.25-1.30....
just my thoughts.....
