Bro, you're right. No contra for YHM. In fact thinking of it the more contra we play the more likelihood we will loss. We're not Bro SC, Bro Ace, Bro Joseeng and Bro LJ. Even Bro LJ decided to quit weeks ago. I only long, park the CPF money until I made good return, and I've another 15 years to wait. So despite the current storm I've no worry because I'm sure the market will come back  again before I  can touch or need the money. That's how I enjoy life these days.

I've  stay sideline for a long while, keep thinking what happened in the past, why I ended up loss more than gain. Now I know, with my character, contra is not suitable for me.  To do so, imporant is to tahan watching people making money and discipline myself not to go in. Not easy with the greediness. And I say, I've overcome it.

This is what I've been saying, consolidate what you have, know who you are  and know what you want. Hope for better days in the future.

Everyone of us has a gambling spirit in us.   The only way to reduce risks is to either trade small or trade nothing at all.   For those contemplating the game, you will have to learn the hard way and in order to make it, you need to be different from most players by understanding what is the market mechanisms.

Stock trading should be treated as just a game only, and not to become a habit because the mechanisms are always against you, the player.

Reason: Money is involved.   Making money in the stock exchange is a legal way of making money by anyone including governments, banks and fund managers.   In today's world, technologies can go to Mars, check on distant planets and galaxies, communicate and alter the courses of satellites and even change weather.  

Don't you think technologies can steal from us the legal way?   Yes of course by using software to check on your positions, moves prices to your (market average bought or sell positions) disadvantage etc.

So it is difficult to win the market and what you win is actually from the pool of players who lost. You share with the BBs the spoils of making a good trade that comes by once in a while...

Wow, sounds so scary.   Yes it is.   But it is not that you cannot win.   Yes you can, but in small amounts.   For example the losers lost $5,000, the BBs will make about $4,000 and $1000 goes to you to share with your brokers, something like that...

So don't treat this game as a business unless you have very high capital to stand losses that always surpass your profits.   This is very common from what I hear say here and there.   Lol.

you are absolutely right. the market is evil. never appreciate your attention. never respect the discipline. and no mercy.   at the same time, let me tell you something. the market is everywhere. in your daily life. at home, at work, with family, with friends and finally within yourself.   it's all about fear & greed.   most people survive in the workplace (9-5) as there is not much to be greedy nor fear. you do your work, you get your salary. if that the case, when you come to the market, we can try to be like that as well. most of the people who got burnt were mislead by the fact that so called financial freedom is possible in the market by simply buy low and sell high and so on (with all sorts of techniques TA/FA/whatever A). the fact of the matter is once one steps into the market, we try to live beyond our means. instead of playing with what we can afford, using broker's money we whack all out to expect some magical moments.   why can't we go slow and steady the way we have done it in school (grade after grade), in the work place (promotion after promotion) to reach our goals. when we have no extreme greed or fear, we will make the sensible decision (take profit/cut loss) calmly.   having said that, as we need to go to work / school full-time, if you really want to earn from the market, you really have to be having full-time commitment. not like, when we win, by chance, we fell really great (genius) but when we loose we blame the meetings from our day job. i think that's what's happening. no matter how fast it crashes, you can cut it in time and you will cut it in time by making sure to find out the way you can cut it in time.

If we can do it, I believe you can do it too. Money loss can make back one by working or coming back to the market smarter. I chose to come back to the market because I believe there is way to survive but must spend time to do homework. In our lifetime, there are more tough issues to settle. yalar i know all that. Not going to cut. Hold and go agm every year makan till im 70, 80 years old as long as im alive & this co still alive. Retired already go and  sulk in front of william every year. Provided he is still alive by then. Or somebody else taken over. Or company delisted. Whatever. Tamade.

In this penny correction, I noticed those counters where BBs have full control one die the most jialat. How jialat will depend on how much control they have. 4 fully controlled one already toh. Still have OKH, ChinaEnv, Centurion haven't really toh. Mirach, Rowsley, ISDN already toh quite jialat since they are also almost fully controlled. The above are just some examples. Other counters that drop a lot but not so jialat one are those that are popular among retailers. The conclusion is BBs fully controlled one + popular among retailers toh the most jialat. In such weak market, there are still counters that are able to trend upward. Just to name a few...KSH, Boustead, Ezra, Longcheer, Penguin, SIIC, Lian Beng, Soup Restn, Loyzenergy, Indoagri etc. Must thanks Bro joseeng for reminding everyone again especially on cut loss. Don't be disheartened. At least we gain some additional knowledge and will be a better player the next time. Sad to say that there are still bros & sis still have to learn through the hard way even after we continue to emphasize on cut loss ...sigh! Good luck all! Huat ah!
