Not to worry, plan your trade n trade your plan, stick to your cut-loss point, dun get emotional, be mechanical, if hit your cut-loss point, just cut, after cut-loss, if it goes up, so be it, unless there is a new buy sign or go for other stocks with buy sign..
I cant tell u wat is the cut-loss point as everyone has different trading plan, diffferent pain threshold n cut-loss point, n depending on whether u are trading short-term, mid-term or long term n at wat price u bought. |

Hi Matthewsoh,
My sincere apology, it is not tat I dun want to share with u how to spot buying sign.
Much as I would like to post a few liners on how to see buy sign, it is quite difficult for me to elaborate in one post.
In a nutshell, u need to know wat the candles, price-volume action is "talking to u" but of course, I always mentioned, it is not infallible.
Frankly, there is no shortcut to trading success, it is all thru hardwork n knowledge n practice n review n refining.
I had posted a few good TA books n "Free TA Tutorial" websites, I suggest u do a search under my username, read them up, master it n regularly refresh wat u read n practice it, u need to learn the ropes of the trade. Once u know how to fish, U can fend for yourself n ignore all those distracting"noises" in the forum.

Normally, I dun trade based on intraday price, as at times, it could be a fake, though it may also be real.
I make my decision based on closing price n plan my next day action

Richtan doesnt gamble or let his money to chances and that is why he uses TA to guide him. I know zero about TA but I know TA is useful to a large extent to the smart investors. Richtan , ignore them.
Flaming is everywhere now. haha .. School holiday extended? maybe they are from PHS or Westwood secondary ?

Do not be distracted by all these noises n remember TA is not infallible,
Thus why, I always like to emphasise these 2 mantras which is forever ingrained in a TA trader's mind:
(1) Always analyse the chart, plan your trade n trade your plan, do not get emotional, set stop-loss when hit, be mechanical.
(2) Cut losses short n let profits run with trailing stops, we need to maximise profits to cover for all those losses n make net profits.

People already envisaged that for a typical market rally, it always moves with the BLUE chips first, then, followed by the Mid Cap, then the penny stocks. If this is the pattern to be expected, then, the BBs etc will short down the penny stocks (unfortunately, this is the stock they like?) for collection at a lower price, and, if this is joined in by other short sellers (retail), then the price will plunge signifcantly. These ppl will then buy low and later, push price up to sell and after this last batch of penny move, the market will stay stagnanat for a while?

Thanks for your encouragement, we are fellow TA practitioner, so we talk in the same frequency.
Likewise, I also been using TA for 20+ years but initially I started trading based on tips, rumours n wild calls in other forums till burnt badly thus why I abhors n strongly detest unscrupously postings, seeing history repeats on gullible newbies n seeing them walking the previous miserable path I had without blowing the whistle..
We, TA practitioner do our TA sharing with ultruistic objective, not like those detractors of TA, accusing us of "ulterior motive" which really pains my heart.
Oh yah, btw, can kindly post your inverse H&S chart to share.

U can keep replying till kingdom comes but I know I have created enuf awareness here to newbies to "dyodd" n not be distracted n affected by all thses "noises, we dun need these "noises" to confirm our trade excution. |

TA is a guide, you have to use other information to really confirm your call.
You really only see one from one view dont you. I never never say using TA is wrong. I support people using TA as a guide. But ur seems to be a fanatic. |
