K1, result coming $$$119mil profit

just to put some perspective on the prospective sale of its 5% share of Good Technology Inc to Motorola.....sale to be completed in early 2007. Co.'s investment is USD 20.7m.



Whilst no info is available at the moment, I believe the sale will reap some capital gains for K1.

Assume gain is                                    eps S$

50%   (USD 10.35m)                             0.84 cts

100%b(USD20.7m)                               1.7   cts

150%(USD31.05m)                               2.54  cts

200%(USD41.4m)                                 3.4 cts



I believe the gain will be at least 50% and possibility 200%.

 

Just checked......xd is 13 Dec.....last day to buy to enjoy the div or before price correction after xd, is 12 Dec

 

why so worried? the long term trend is still intact. dun get such a small dip affect u. lool at the longer term. only if it dip below 40c than can consider trend reverse. however i think it is quite hard unless DOW dip 500-1000 points.. the massive dividend will not be the last as K1 just dispose another co.

 

hope it does not drop further after XE
