court case this week. not sure of the verdict though...

Does anybody have any update on this counter ?? Volume is very high today.. with lots of big buy. Not sure what's going on ? Any insight ?
Baker Tech is in a downtrend now as marked by the COT Proxy. Don't be fooled by the apparent breakout in price. As you can see the proxy does not signal a buy! It is a false breakout.

It is happening as I said. Closer to ex div. This likely to run up by another 2-3 cents.

Don worry about time frame. With upcoming div., if u buy now u hav 3c buffer. And still have about 1mth for xd. Belive it will go up by at least 5c from current px.

Do you have the time frame for this court case to be settled ? thiscase has been about one year depressing Baker Tech price can't go up! During the EGM,AGM always say settling soon but always got extended.,don't know which party no ball to fight ?...
Can never say for sure how high this can go but feel it will go much higher than current. Consider this. Dividend to be paid is about 8% from current price. Secondly, the sale that's being contested, either party wins, it will still have to go through. The contest is by SembMarine claiming first right to BUY the said company ! If they win the lawsuit, SembMarine will have to buy this from Bakertech. So either way, Bakertech sells the company anyway. So, think there is more upside to come....

How Much do Bakertech worth? 50cts? Looking at current offshore business, should be at least 60cts

Bakertech is in a law suit with Sembmarine over PPL shipyard. Sticky point is Sembmarine want to block competitorYangtzejiang from acquiring PPL. So Baker tried to sell PPL to another company(but linked to Yangtzejiang I think) and Sembmarine is still not happy and claim that they should have first right to buy PPL.
Could it be another Achieva in the making? Bakertech's major shareholders pays big dividend to empty coffers and then sell company to Yang. So Yang can control Baker directly and PPL indirectly. No need to sell PPL to the company mentioned above??
If so, interesting to watch. Hold Baker till relieved :)

See two ways here. Price hold well because of high div payout. 3 cents ! Even if price don't move, 8% div is already good earning.
The other way is, price never fall is because once dividend payout, than price will fall. But that's normal. More important is, will they keep paying same dividend next year ? Anyway, div on hand still good enough for me. Buy first talk later.

Trying to understand. Profit down so much and yet paying dividend of 3 cents. That's about 8 over % from closing price. Anyone got any read on this ? If solely for div, this has got to be one of the best around today. Anyone got a better pick to share ?
