Now is all water under the brigde!
After this two counters get conned, next one will be Baker Tech....
ppls here should learn the lesson and avoid this counter or short it down.......
sell first , dun look back................////????????????????????
bearing in mind also that it is increasing difficult to operate in China, never know what you going to get..e.g. Midas's CEO problem. Someone intentionally spreaded rumours on their respected 'CaiJin' magazine that ceo was arrested to China causing the share to plunge... Eventually the CEO had to choice but to appear to squash the rumours... In this episode, it affect Raffles Edu too because the CEOs are brothers. Hopefully it's because of unfound rumours...
this morning ST seems to say it's due to big fund pulling out of this counter.

zhuge_liang. is there a put option that wu sheng can excercise to protect their shares?

11.06 pm singapore time, still no announcement from Lottvision and BanJoo. Usually such incident is not healthy.
Taiwan's Firich had recently signed an MOU with LottVision to acquire a 15-20% stake allowing LottVision to own 100% stake in Wu Sheng Tech, a lottery assembler (the deal was to have been done through a share swop of vendor shares at $0.609). With the current mkt rout, traders were speculating that this deal had been called off. Firich also owns 11.3% of Armada.
siao liao
still no news on ban joo and lottvision now, something not very right.
eurostar, so far no new on the cancellation of license. China support the lottery business because it contribute to the welfare of the country. I think the business is growing too big and the government is calling for better management of the business. Better management can be various meaning, let not speculate and listen to what the ceo have to say.
If banjoo ceo is not going to announce any news today, it worries many investor. Let wait and see
thx for sharing.. we wait for banjoo's annoucement.. do u think there is a chance that they'll be related?

Chinese vice premier Hui Liangyu on Friday called for better management and supervision the country's welfare lottery industry.
A ceremony of the 20th anniversary of China's welfare lottery was held in Beijing.
Hui said the welfare lottery industry had made great contributions to the nation's public welfare.
The lottery has raised a total of 242.3 billion yuan over the past two decades, of which 80.9 billion yuan was raised for national public welfare funds, according to the Ministry of Civil Affairs .
The ministry said the fund was mainly used for the development of social welfare facilities, education and health care for orphans, the elderly and the disabled. More than 10 million people have benefited from the funds, according to the ministry.
With the rapid development of the welfare lottery industry, this year the nation's welfare lottery sales are expected to exceed 60 billion yuan, said the ministry.
Civil Affairs Minister Li Xueju said the welfare lottery had become an effective force to promote the country's social welfare and would continue to make a contribution to building a harmonious society.
By the end of 2006, China's social welfare organizations had increased to 40,456 from 31,468 in 1987. More than 1.41 million people have been supported in welfare houses, a six-fold increase compared with 1987.
China launched its first lottery in June 1987. Lottery ticket sales are one of the major sources of funds for building community sports facilities and financing the country's social welfare programs.
China's lottery market has expanded quickly over the last two decades but the China Welfare Lottery Management Center still describes the market penetration of the lottery in China as low.
As in 2006, China's per capita lottery sale account for only 0.66 percent of the per capita net income, equivalent to only one to two percent of the world average.
