Hi Rayband
I wonder if you notice that Gallen's post are a yr old??

Vested @ 0.53 n 0.56 hope can have a good run
Hi Gallen
Listen to your advice. Just bought Federal at 0.56 for 5 lots. Hopefully can make peanuts for my lunch..
what does COY stand for? Pls pardon my ignorance.
Watch this stock. Strong upside potential in the near term of 3 to 6 months, if not earlier. TA suggests it will scale upwards and daily and weekly charts and all it's indicators, are evidence. The business prospects remain bright for the oil and gas sector and Federal has made moves to tap into this. The post rights issue adjustments to price is over and some signs of life in last few trading sessions were seen. The big move has not come yet and the coy's corporate moves (check SGX announcements) are steps in the right direction.
some interest seen in this stock today, a possible breakout
with first immediate target of 61 cts .... technicals are positive
and old high of 64 cts (prior to rights issue) will be revisited in the
near term
Will Federal go up. Now at 0.515. I kana stuck quite abit of shares so must be cautious.
Lai liao!

Technical Analysis (Update)
Since last posting, Federal still in flag and pennant formation but this looks likely to be resolved very soon, possibly tomorrow (Tue). Light sweet crude up again to hit $67.60, positive for Federal. Breakout on the upside from pennant would see prices heading up to 68.5 cents followed by the penultimate resistance of 76 cents. Technical target from breakout is 82 cents.

Federal reported a 5% rise in full year profits for 2005 compared to a year ago largely due to the absence of one-off gains on disposal of investments and fixed assets (S$5m). Streamlining of operations in 2005 bodes well for 2006, especially with new Indonesian investors on board (bought 42m shares at 33 cents) and many strategic alliances formed (eg HK and Brunei). New investors have ambitious target to raise revenues to US$1 billion within five years from slightly over S$100 million in 2004. I'll be more conservative and assume S$1 billion instead. That would mean compounded annual growth rate in revenues of 58%. Already, about $60m worth of contracts (amount to be recognised in FY 2006) have been clinched.
