yep da gege,

elf: stland: vested.

note: tech target is 58-63c, in at least 6 mths. So not for contra or very short term. i'm prepared to hold even a year for this counter. low beta, slow growth stock.

jsphnteo,

I have always been a champion of Stamford Land in SJ.

Whilst I'm glad you are vested, I hope you did your own homework prior to putting your $$$ down.

Good luck with your investment.....but as usual, caveat emptor applies.

Vested too.

jsphnteo,

Glad that this counter is getting some recognition.......

If you read BT article by Teh Hooi Ling titled 'There is a Life Cycle to Stocks too'....24 Mar07....think this counter is still in the 'Contrarian' category.

elfie,

How, taken the plunge yet?

'Hidden gem' is the word that I would use for this counter..

I m vested at 33cents Oct/Nov06.... Still waiting ....Strongly believe that this counter will reach 60 cents one day.

NAV48cents, current price is still at a discount.

Looking forward to good YE results & good dividends payout.

yep, keeping an eye on this counter (not vested yet). appears to have undergone selling since feb 9th. good support at 37c, could perhaps look to enter then.

quiet counter; can't use traditional lead indicators on this one. MAcross, bollies and RSI more accurate--need a period of at least 2 mths tho.

general trend of market likely down tho. so no hurry to enter perhaps. good counter for the divvy play.

been vested since it was 25 cents. This counter seems neglected despite its good showing. Especially even after the news about it came out

Hi IreneL....,

congrats to ur earning........profits + div will be gd based on current situation for the coming Mar 07 YE....

For forumers who deem buying and holding for long term will definite make profits......its not always is true............if you were to buy and hold on to worthless company shares......some research stlls need to be done..........

3Q 07 (to 31 Dec 06) announcement eps 3.08, NAV 48cts.

At Friday's (9 Feb) closing of 43.5 cts, stock is still trading at a disc of 9.4% to NAV. My est of FY07 eps is 4.5cts.....which makes P/E of  9.7X. Final Div will be better than FY06 (3.0cts). My guess is it will be at least 4.0 cts giving a yield of  9.2%.

FY estimates are just my personnal opinion.

Vested.

SLL benefits from the aussie and NZ property boom and tourist boom. Double bonus. Just look at what Tuan Sing got for their Aussie hotel in profit and you can see where SLL is going with their top end hotel and property business down under. Or just read through some of the Aussie listed hotel/property Annual reposrts/earning announcements...

aston,

Think KE covers this stock.

As for whether SLL will benefit from Spore property boom......I think very marginal if any...its only got one property in Spore...9th floor of Southern Building...which is used as offices of SLL, Sp Ship and Cougar Log.

For more info on SLL, suggest you read my post on 24 Oct06 in this thread.....in fact, suggest you read all the posts in this thread....there are < 40 posts, so shouldn't be too tedious for you.

Thanks !

Does any1 knows whether is this stock widely covered by anaylsts ?

N from what i read thru, its hotel properties are all in Aus and NZ. So does that mean the economy of the 2 countries is more impt than the current local property boom ?

Does the Stamford Land benefit anyway from the local property boom ?
