Even if o e has tons of money to play,

one must play safely and responsibly.

In fact the more money one has,

the more responsible one needs to be

when playing the stock market... Smiley

(*of course assuming one is not a market mover)

Hulumas,  Shang Turbo is still at 0.07, no volume and not much movement.

This is the second time you corrected your name in this site, I notice.

since you are sharing. I suppose your buying in midas is by sense and gut feeling, or may be the collect when it drop and collect again when it drop further. Becuase all the indicators were lousy and the Greece was still negotiating. You bought becuase it's the day Greece was suppose to get an answer.

It's good that you elaborate, so you are not holding many shares forever but some are 3 months or so.

As many s-chips are very dodggy, how do you trust their intergraty while analysing it's statement/report. or you buy mainly govt related counters

thanks

My master is not Warren Buffet nor Jim Roger or others.

My master is Kenny Roger. Pl. read his song carefully

entitled " The Gambler" and apply to your share trading.

It might benefit you tremendously. Cheers

Different stocks have their different holding time horizon for ripe time  riding of  their individual stock  total net profit.I have all my stocks holding horizon varying from as short as 3 months up to several decades even as long as whole life holding. Due to the fact that market is dynamic, so the holding time horizon might change accordingly as well

Can you clarify the term: for investor to hold, for how long

3 mths, 6 mths, 1yr,2 yrs, 3 yrs, 5 yrs, 10m yrs even if the stock is profitable.

As 1 forumer mentioned, paper loss is actual money lost

Sifu Anthony is right...

Every moment in time is an uncertainty.

In other words, whether we look one day ahead,

or look one month ahead, or 1 year, or 5 years...

life (stock market) is uncertain. All is risking.

Thus, as long as one's statement shows a loss,

it is a loss, a very real loss... Smiley

Always try to buy in the cheapest as much as you can aford and to sell out the most expensive as many as market can absorb that is the most ideal for profit optimization of stock investment prime and basic principle, but unfortunately, only a few Investors dare to implement this methodology!

Hulumas, i like your style man,  buy cheap  on fear and when everyone is fearing s-chips.....and if you happen to hit the real bottom, you might be the next billionaire in the making, who knows?

Let the time tells and betting on the may or may not.

Hulumas      ( Date: 20-Jun-2011 21:45) Posted:

Shall we buy more selective S-chips to support them then
