Awarded a contract for $20.7m, for the supply and installation of air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation, building management, fire protection, electrical and engineering smoke control services for the 4-storey commercial development with 5 basements at Sengkang West Avenue / Fernvale Road at The Seletar Mall, developed by Kajima Overseas Asia Pte Ltd. UE E& C currently trades at 4.4x trailing P/E, 1.1x P/B.
How high can this go?

Dividend coming again . This time 5cents, still v good yield.

i bought 13 lots... but you would haf collected 1200 in divs right? you din sell when it went up to near 80 or you bought after xd is it the extra ten lots?
its ok friend, if you can average down? do you think that would be ok? think carefully .. but in your sitn , i might think of doing that ... see the px drop further then av down? still it is your call ... even if you hold i think , you will be ok nearer to cd?/ hopefully they as generous as last year? 6 cents divs?

actually i thought i had queued last night at 615...then woke up see...did not...then i thought its ok i shall just buy a few small lots first then... vested first at 635... if drop then buy some more if not , just hold...
Friend tea444 - You vested today after price jump to 0.635? How many lots?
My 20 lots bought at 0.72 are still down by $900. Net loss is $300 after collecting $600 dividend when I bought in.
I learned hard lesson and now know better to do what you said - buy early and ride it up to ex-date.

Shares of UE E& C Ltd fell 6 percent to S$0.55 after OCBC Investment Research cut its target price on the Singapore construction and engineering firm to S$0.71 from S$0.82, while keeping its " buy" rating.

next time sont wait for dividend...buy ealry and sell when price appreciate...this is what i did with this counter...and other counters too. except for hong fok...i din know the xd date was earlier ...end up...haf to sell quiikly on xb date ...then bonus shares got to wait a week when the price has dropped further some more...that one loss for me ard 1 k....
