Actually just followed the smart money, funds, Capital Gp and Schroder they did the thourough analysis bef taking the plunge, I collected more as it slid further.

from the aspect of running business, this stock is doomed. recent bad news like insufficient cabin crew and pilots, plane problem etc. or even just flight cancellation has hit tiger airways hard. such bad reputation shuns potential customers away. what more stiff competition among budget airline operators. tiger has to do something or else... but look on the bright side!!! maybe we will get more zero dollar (exclusive of airport tax) flight very soon haha...

Hmm, I dunno when Tiger Air AGM but I hope u guys (whom i presume are TigerAir shareholders) can help sound out the management why they treat customers so badly and cancel flights so last minute.. I have a wedding dinner to attend in Bangkok end of the month and the airline cancel the flight just like that? If inform me last mth still can make some arrangements.. Now so last min that I must scramble for some other arrangements which costs me much more $$$..
I think I am way luckier than passengers who got told only right smack in their face when they arrive at the Budget Terminal. By choosing budget airlines, I chose to forgo the usual amenities which normal airlines give for granted, but I certainly dun expect even the service level to be way much lower?
Even if there's pilots resignation, they got notice period to serve too and should have predicted in advance that such they have a flight schedule problem and do the problem solving before that happens..
I dun think this is the way to do business.. The best thing, I have to wait for 3-4 weeks for the trip refund to be credited back to my CC..

Budget carrier Tiger Airways has confirmed it is stopping services to Bangalore from 14 November. No reason has been given for the termination.
At present, the carrier operates four flights weekly to the Indian IT hub.
Tiger Airways has of late cancelled numerous other flights, leaving thousands of passengers stranded.
The woes have been attributed to aircraft problems and severe crew shortage.
Passengers affected by the latest service disruption have been notified to get their refunds and to look for other travel arrangements.
At present, the carrier operates four flights weekly to the Indian IT hub.
Tiger Airways has of late cancelled numerous other flights, leaving thousands of passengers stranded.
The woes have been attributed to aircraft problems and severe crew shortage.
