I thought when BB pushed a stock, it wouldn't just stop at 0.3cts a day and then paused for a week or more. In the meantime, sustained the price range bound and then pushed again only to repeat over 3 mths ? Anyway, I don't really care about BB so long as I remained comfortable with its momentum and growth potential for mid-long term holding. It is true that given today's trading mentality, the invest and hold mentality is often not the best strategy for maximizing profit. I'm comfortable with the above 15% return so far over the last 3 mths of accumulation. It is not a fast house. Perhaps not too wrong to describe it as dog as I find its faithfully stable up trend attractive and predictable and reassuring as it stopped to consolidate at each jump before moving up again.

This stock is really a dog. I think there are other stocks out there that can give much better potential returns and faster. Looks like BBs trapped a lot of innocent retailers in the last run up. Too many outstanding shares in the market. Prefer other faster horses...

As for share price. Many estimates suggested in the forum. Given that its Chairman David Chen ands jot shareholders recently subscribed to new issued shares at 4cts each and t took them 2 years of hardwork to put things into order and turn it around. It has to reward them well. Its last net tangible asset per share is about 7.3-7.9cts per share (guess the range cited by many may be due to the exchange rate of RMB). So, logically, it should rise to its NTA if its track record is sustainable and improving. Compared to its peers such as Utd Envirotech, it should rise above 10cts. Watch for its half year result announcement to be released around Feb 13-14. Its risk remains its ability to manage its finances and operation given that its short term debt to finance the plants is still relatively high. This divestment may be one of the considerations to refinance to meet its near term debts while giving them opportunity to capture new growth market given that they have out the business back on track. Perhaps it may not be divestment but rather more likely injection of fresh funds. There may be revaluation of its asset and hence a boost to its NTA due to this exercise.

Continue to monitor the cash flows for Hankore as we know how important that is to their business. From 2008 (before the financial woes were uncovered) - 2010/11 (financial restructuring) to 2012 (return to positive cash flow and profitability), here's their cash and cash equivalent - RMB264.6m (2008), RMB67.9m (2009), RMB8.6m (2010), RMB75.9m (2011) and RMB81.8m (2012). Hope to see them continuing to stay cash positive and putting aside higher cash and cash equivalent to build up a strong financial foundation and drive up profitability through plant expansion and aggressive tariff negotiation.
Didn't occur to me. Did they do the same for GE ?

No lah. My last purchase was 1200 lots at 4.2cts about 2 weeks ago. Just collecting from 3.4cts over the last 3 mths. Still less than 10000 lots. For the same amount$, can only buy 2/3 at current price of what has been accumulated. In another month, maybe only 1/2. Hopefully within a year, 1/10 :)

wow..600K SGD can retire liao or you must have a few million and this is just to top up your retirement funds.
I think in Singapore if one wants to retire early with wife and enjoy a bit of luxury (holiday but using budget airlines)...till 80 yrs old and not depending on kids
at 50yrs old - one needs at least $3mio-4.5Mio to cover everything. Which is about $100k - $150k a yr. Unless got a few properties..can live on rentals.

Hi guys, we can compete with one another lol! I am half way to my 3,000 lots. Hope to retire when Hancore goes back to above 20++ cents. It is possible. Wehehehehe!!
This is on top of the 800 lots I got on Thurs 4.6cts.
