Because when it push past 3000, it will suck in more uncles and aunties and then fulfil its real purpose as a bear market rally. Like what EWI recently said, bear rallies nearing its final stage is to try to convince as many people as possible that it is time to buy because its a new bull market ahead. Nothing can be more BS than this ! |

1. Q3 &Q4 GDP growth will be no better than Q2.
2. ST Index components do not appear bullish. Flat
3. To warrant a bull market, share vol must be there.
Daily vol, 1.2 to 1.5 billion shares cannot be a bull.
4.Overall move uptrend of stock. A few uptrend
of some stock does not warrant a bull.
5. The most important factor. Watch out for uncles, aunties,
tai-tais,butchers, fishmongers, veg.sellers, etc,etc in the
wet market talking abt share prices. They are more interested
in their share trading rather than selling their goods.
All eyes glued to the TV text share price in coffee shops.
Singaporean hot topic subject, all about shares.

STI high 3800, STI low 1500, STI today 2930. Hmmmm, we are more than halfway there, the cup is about 63% full
Our flood dont need to predict, but expected if someone do the review of the in place flood control system carefully.. Just like a 1 litre car performance limitation... lol...
My feeling is always the best reliable friend that I can trust... lol ....

Having watch world markets and the local market, in my opinion,
the STI will not touch 3000 by end of the year.I do not anticipate
any National Rally either.Whatever news, e.g. Q2 growth has been
reported. Unless there are spectacular news forthcoming,I don't
think the STI will reach 3000. Jus my tot oni. |

Prediction??? They can't even predict their own future life correctly how to predict the market. I only believe in short term forecast but not long or mid term.... Short term still can be within control... lol...
With so many ppl (incl. Dr Doom) predicting a crash/double dip, it won't happen - STI should hit 3000pt b4 October. BUT to play safe sell before October 2010. Can play for another 2 mth+.
Oh change thread already... I think the title should state STI will cross 2400... lol...
