Yes. I have accumulated some over a period of time; will buy more when price dips. I bought this counter for 2 main reasons:

1. Organic growth in niche mkt : FY 09's EPS=3.44 cts which was 2.34 times over FY 08's 1.47 cts. Assuming 50% growth this year, EPS = 5.16 cts. At 17.5 cts last traded on 25/6/10, potential PE= 3.39; and

2. Cash & cash equi =$14.998m (about 9.12 cts ps based on 164.531172ms) & NAV ps =16.62 cts at end of FY 09.

you also have this stock? ohm136

looked like this stock may move next week, too long never move since other stocks gone up already.

observed the market depth for past few days, some buyers wanted to buy but at lower price, if  someone buy direct from the sellers, then price will rocket because not many sellers in the market.

Agreed. 100k worth of this requires 100k worth of sellers. That's quite a few lots.

Spot on, illiquidity kills. There are better counters to look at if you are going for the dividend yield and also potential to enjoy capital gain. You would probably want to consider Hock Lian Seng and Innotek. Buy on dips where possible.

so you are saying not worth to buy for div's sake?

unless this stock can go up after EX date, if not you can get struck for dont know how many years.

usually dividends are already priced in once they're announced so don't expect to make an arbitrarge on this. the $3750 that you'll be getting back is just part of your capital of $100k.

today market drop, this stock did not drop.

can buy and keep because next week you will get div.

if you put into FD for $100,000 interest give you only $875 (maybank rate 0.875 for 12mths)

but 500,000 shares ($100,000/20 cents, now price is 0.195 cts) div will be $3750 (div 0.75 cents)

which one is better? but this stock got no vol, so not easy to sell at good price.

this is not an inducement to buy.

looked like just wake up, few buyers now, hope can see more in the afternoon  or next week.

it is safer to enter now than later because very few sellers.

25 cents no problem before 4 May.

FY '09 EPS = 3.44 cts; Div = 0.75 cts (x-date 4/5/10 to be paid on 19/5/10) ie div yield = 4.05% based on the last closing price of 18.5 cts; cash & cash equi = $14.998m, debt = $7K; NAV per share = 16.62 cts of which 9.11 cts are in cash & cash equi ($14.998m/ 164.531172 million shares).

Besides, APO has its niche market for organic growth. What do you think?
