on paper you cannot naked short but as long as you cover your short is ok la

Naked short-selling is not allowed. But with CFD, it is normal to sell even if you don't own the stocks... Just open a CFD account with any broker... I find POEMS quite good...

Those who jump in to short, can make some profit too
But don't be greedy and get burnt

If a downtrend is already established in place, one can short then hold...
It is just as sound an investment as when buying in an uptrend...
The key thing here is the trend...
But one must be intimately monitoring the price movements...

Not wise to when there is market correction. Should wait for the next wave to move higher. The wise will buy at low then sell at high.
Sh. I meant if we contra too much in the next few days, then it might not help to recover the market. If you buy, buy for future growth, better for all. Hahaha.

Maybe not.. similiar pattern on 1st SEP-3rd SEP. Dow corrected 200-300 bec of SEP - OCT effect.. reduce holdings still okie.. total getting out is nt really wise

Please for the stability of the market, don't just buy to sell for contra profits in the next few days. Because if you do too much contra, then we can see the market recover fast. JMO.
Dows down, TGIF, best to short it today. My list C20, UtdEnvirtech, YingLi, PEC, Rotary, Synear, Asiatravel, Sinomem, Starhub...
I'll be buying today. Good for bargains if you have some spare cash
