Hi thengbeng,
1) buy the accepted given and the access rights thru atm at the same time. Juz enter the 400pcs as accepted given rights and at the next screen, juz enter 600pcs as access rights. The total amt will display to tell you how much they are going to deduct from yr account.
2) its better not to hv odd lots, if not, after rights goes up to become mother share, you'll hv problem selling yr shares. I think the company will be very happy to hv many ppl subscribing the rights as they require money from investors now. Juz purchase what is comfortable with you. In the event they are unable to give you, they will return the access money to you.

Once u sold away, said 200 right share as for now, U can only buy back 200 share (after selling off 200 on Short selling) Only on the same day before 17:00:00 hours and
after all that happened and on 4th day. U have to wait for SGX to buy back ur 200 share and pay the different if lose, if U make they will credit into a/c. Noted: they will also send U a statement on profit and lost. U can also confirm with your Remiser by quickest way, Tel-phone call...

Hi all
I am very new to right issues and just sold my rights this morning but my uob account showing me SHORT SELLING
Can anyone tell what happen and what i need to do?
THANKS
Hi all,
I was reading this earlier and was wondering I have some mother shares and should be eligible for the rights. Would genting send us a letter to inform us how much rights we have and how to settle like they did in the past?
I have yet receive anything from them, so was wondering.
thanks for the help
For what payment is required, believe your brokers and or Remisers will tell U or SMS U on how much to pay for your purchase and
If U sell,. U just have to wait from after the 4th day onward for your statement from CDP a/c posting to U by your Securities companies saying how much have been deposit into your bank. ( if your CDP securities. If it link to your bank). The Central Depository (Pte) Limited
Hope it help..Oop...ZZZZzzzz

Hi newbab, This is what will happen....to Gent SP r and R200
Thing to noted: all nil-paid rights share is worthless after Oct 12).
Those holding nil-paid rights have to pay up ($0.80 per 1,000 share) to subscribe for.
If you do not wish to subscribe, make sure you sell away your nil-paid rights between 28 Sep and 6 Oct, do yourself a favour and pay up.
For whatever reason. Either U pay up or sell your right share, for it will become worthless after 12 Oct! (Monday).
Can we just buy at the current rights thru open mkt for trading purposes if we do have any mother shares, eg. 0.31 for 1000 lots? what happen if after the last day for trading if I still haven't sell this 1000 lots? Or if I have the entitlement to the rights, say odd lots, can I still buy from the open mkt at 0.31 to make it 1000 shares? How much do I really have to pay? 0.80 or 0.31 for the additional lots I bought thru open mkt?
Kindly advise.

Hi Kuang3,
Yes. Gent SP right strike price is offer at 0.80ct per 1,000 right share. Since U are holding 2,000 mother share ot two (2) lots. Issued to U is 400 nil-paid rights share. U have either to sell your 400 share or U have to buy 600 share (from R200 opened market) to make up upto 1,000 (one lot) of right share.
EG: Just sharing info: I5BR Genting SP R (mean for one whole lots - right)
EG: if anyone hold say 1,400 right share (1,000 will be sold in 15BR & 400 shr sold in 15CR)
Important to note: For more info by Oct 12, by this date.
(thing to noted: all nil-paid rights share is worthless after Oct 12).
(Monday). You may make payment either via post (ATM your CDP account if it linked, If not, take note down your CDP account number for keying in manually just in case or using bank drafts or cashier's order, no cheques accepted)
This is also the date by which excess rights shares applications must be submitted. If you are holding odd lots, my advice is to apply and pay up a day earlier - just in case. Priority is always given to holders with odd lots in the excess allocation process. Note: only shareholders of the original mother shares are eligible for excess rights application. Buying nil-paid rights from the open market does not afford you the same privilege.
For shareholders who bought under the CPF Investment Scheme, you are also entitled to subscribe for the rights issue and apply for excess rights shares using your CPF money. You may do this by instructing the bank which is overseeing your CPF investment account to accept the rights issue and/or apply for excess rights shares.
Hope it help.

how come R & R200 are both trading at the same price?
shouldn't it be like R - $0.30, R200 - $0.30/5= $0.06 ??
any comrade can tell me what is this R & R200? what is the difference between these and the mother share? very lost.
