Not many people talk abt HL, so it seems few are vested or have sold. I buy around 20 cents 10 lots. So I compare STE with HL according to your logic but arrive at different figures.
IF STE goes to its high of $2.70, you make 30 cents or $300. Using the same money, when HL goes to its high (IPO px) of 34 cents, you make 10 cents or $1000. So I still prefer if I have the money, to put in this $2400 in HL instead of $2400 in STE.
Unless STE has the potential to go to $3.40, then they quit.
not really more capital , if you buy 10 lots of HL, you buy 1 lot of Ste or singtel lor. Comparing risk, the other 2 got virtually no chance of going under,l while HL is comparatively more risky, a yearof bad croc harvest, or customer going under, or changing consumer behavior will bring then red. For such a small gain if you want to invest in a small- med cap company , might as well invest in blue chips or just buy REITs.
Do note that I do not hold stocks of singtel or ste or any reits but just my analysis, so not promoting. Already cashed out of everything liao.

Not trying to promote this counter, but wants to share what I notice and believe. This bugger is going to try...(horse racing term). In top form and many bets recently. May try to push up to IPO price (34 cents). Make your own research and not swear at me if it did not come true! Cheers.
Tks. But I think if you say ste, I find the yield is the same as Heng Long, bth ard +5 percent. And more capital needed so more risk to take.
It's true that 5% is not alot but considering it's penny stock, it's relatively ok for people who doesn't have the huge amount of capital to buy blue chips?
64 for 5 lots is like 5% + gain. Alot of shares on sgx give more than that. can even buy blue chip like ste

There are better yield elsewhere
One year has passed, yet this counter had been rarely traded. A rare gem of penny stock status, its income and profit had been quite a good show. Dividend was good. Last month I got $64 for 5 lots, quite a good yield and better than bank rate to market price of the stock. Saw some unusual movements yesterday and think can try to buy more.

i dont think Heng Long is well known yet. it was listed in July this year, not exactly a time when investors were looking for new ideas. but after reading an article, i think worth sharing abt this business - an unusual one in singapore, and a survivor from the competition of the past few decades in singapore.
