Next year only Civil Servants can afford to buy car. 

 

I recently saw the weekend's Recruit section. It has been a long time since that section is so thin! 

From SJ's poll on the front page, it seems that a significant fraction of people are as worried over their jobs as their investments. I think the only Singaporeans who are comfortable in this environment are those that work in the public sector.

However, many stat boards now have head count freeze. It will be difficult to get in now.
