2009 DPU is 7 cts

That means $1.75 cts per qtr for 2009

Should be no problem

The Q1 report is out and it does a Net Loss. I know Citispring did the Basslink acquisition that's strategically good and enlarge their ability to generate more income, but I get worried when a growth company does not show Profit growth. Also I don't see a good explanation from management or analyst. Of course its good they can deliver dividend of 1.6c.  I also thought of this as a long term growth and divd co.  but can someone explain the loss?     Comments?

This one good to keep

Unlike China water stocks or others like Indonesia - anytime can change rules or earthquake

The risk is very little for this one

In due time, many people will realise its potential, especially  its Basslink aquisition where potential DPU is great

Agree with Farmer that the gearing and PE of Cityspring is high. This is 'cos Citysrping is very much a growth company - and a very young one!As such, it is only fair to judge the performace of this Company by the Cash Flow it generates and its ability to service its debts! Cheers!

Hey, there is no a such thing as a worthless point of view. Even it is wrong, it still has a price tag....hahaha!

Those who still feel unhappy or skeptical about this one could have bought it during its IPO era and affected by their rewards to its mgmt/pfmr fee structure that cause it to fall to the current price even below its ipo price of 89cts. To be fair, although its gearing is high ~60%, with Tamasick's support and the product it's offering.......good to accumulate for long term investor even at current price ie. anything <ipo price in my view. RSI looks bullish at current level but still lack the vols to cheong further.

Another one to consider is AscendasIndT which have ~0% gearing. Just my worthless view. Smiley

Andrew, to me $9m in the last qtr result was considered as strong as far as Cityspring is concerned. Maybe you could enlighten all of us here what is considered a good earning (for CitySp);  and also how do you derive at the NTA of Cityspring or where do you get the numbers? Much oblidge. Cheers!

The NTA used to be 89~90cts during the IPO Pro.  Due to the printing of new notes to pay management perhaps, its NTA stand at 75cts now.

The profit from citygas also lame.....it is like working for McDonald for $0.5/hour instead of $4.5. 600M company should make like 600M style.....not 11M

So how ? low asset value, low profit.....I think difficult.

It will be better if Cityspring don;t buy Hyflux's  water assets in China

yes, having temasek is a big plus... however, this counter has to fight two minuses since ipo. The first is related to the performance fee paid linked to share price performance. The second has to do with hyflux sudden change of mind of not injecting its water assets in china into cityspring soon after ipo. well, having said,  citispring still has a future with temasek as sponsor.
