Hi all of you,

Managed to scroll down and read your posting. It's rather sad. That's why people admire "Adam and Eve", because they dont have mothers-in-law. Guys, before you get married, first look at how your potential mother in law treat your potential father in law. Your future wife will treat you the same way. Its vice versa for girls.

Now, back to trading. The market is very choppy right now. I have stopped trading in equities since Aug 07. Wonder why you bought shares during CNY. It is not a wise thing to do. Every retails traders lost money. Those who said they make money during this turmoil period are lying to give themselves some comfort.

Look at Tat Hong today. Everyone cheong this counter last week. Who would think it can go down by more than 20 cents.

Most people trade with FEAR. Fear of missing a trade when market rebounds. Thats why you enter a trade. Please remember, the market is alway available. Be it now or next year. If you dont protect your capital, you will have no fund to trade when others are making money.

If you need to trade now, I suggest you trade Forex. Learn a strategy that works and trade it for the rest of your life. Remember, SIZE DOES MATTER. (You guys dont be cheeky) It is easeir to cut loss when the amount is not hugh.

Forex trading can give you an additional income, but it will not make you super rich. Go to the following link and download this free ebook. Learn its strategy. Paper trade for a while before you actually trade with real money. You wont regret it.

I took a drive to Serrangoon Gardens for supper tonight with my wife at the nice F&B outlets there. The road into the estate was so jam with cars that I couldn't even get in. We had to settle for some cheapo restaurant. Haha... not my fault....

If you need to give present, just be careful. Read on.

Happy Valentine?s Day

A young man decided to buy his sweetheart a present for Valentine?s Day. After due consideration he decided that a pair of gloves would be just the thing.

His sister was going shopping and he accompanied her. While he was buying the gloves, his sister bought a pair of silk panties for herself. Somehow, at the gift wrap department, the items got mixed up and the panties were sent to the sweetheart?s house with the following note :-

"My dear lover,

This is to show you that I had not forgotten your Valentine Day?s gift. I chose them because I notice that you had not been wearing any when we went out together last week. Had it not been for my sister?s advice, I would have bought long ones. They are delicate in colours. I bought these from a lady who showed me a pair she was wearing for three weeks and they were hardly soiled.

However, I wish I could put them on for you the first time. No doubt, other men will come into contact with them. I hope you would think of me every time you put them on and off. I was not sure about the size but I felt I should be a competent judge if anyone else was. When you put them on for the first time, sprinkle a little powder in them as they will then go on easily. When you take them off, blow into them as they will naturally be damp from wear.

I hope you will accept them in the same spirit in which they are given and wear them to the dance on Saturday. There you can take them off later in the night when I have seen you in them. I don?t think I shall be able to count the number of times when I shall be kissing the backs of them through the coming years.

Happy Valentine?s Day.

Your Loving Lover,

I think all human being love to receive present. Be it expensive or not, the excitement of receiving a present, guessing what's in it and unwrapping the gift paper will push the adrenaline to a higher level - like punting in the stock mkt, where after taking position the share price just shot up and up...LOL!!!

Just heard from my friend 6 stalks go for at least $80 now... and they'll only last less than a week before going mouldy.

Actually a nice thoughtful gift that she really needs would be much better... more meaningful.

Any ladies in forum to comment?  A lady who care about you would not want u to spend so much - this is what she will tell you. But in her hearts, she deeply wish that u would buy somthing.  So if u buy something (May not be exp) or make something to give to her, she will jump with joy.  For a lady, the BRAIN contridict what the HEART think.

Scotty, it depends on which stage your relationship is in.

If she really loves you, she wouldn't want you to spend $ on such things on v day : ) Happiness is shortlived when you rec'd the flowers but is it worth the $.

Valentine's day is too commercialised for me.

It is just an opportunity for the F&B industry in Singapore to capitalise on the event and charge ridiculous prices.

scotty, sorry to hear abt your plight.  juz be careful in future.  like what some of the old birds mentioned, try technical analysis, at least you know where you are heading to and know when to buy or sell...

abt the part on "no money to buy roses"...  you still can find other means or do something which will not cost you money to make her feel that she is the special someone to you and you will treasure her...  i'm sure she will be touched too...  not necessary to shower expensive gifts, dinners, etc..  in order for her to feel touched...  but make sure you gotta come clean with her as to why you are not able to afford roses for her..

hope you will recover your losses soon....Smiley

Just joking! I am married with a child now, so valentine's day is history, we are afterall not that romantic ones...cheers!
