It seems like 0.61 is the bottom. In this kind of market, it is still at this level. Very positive.

Hahaha... you are right..

Maybe I should use the term "theme" ... themes change quickly...

Of course I am referring to stock market plays... Smiley

If you analyse carefully "fads" won't change. I won't explain too much here. The world populaion is growing and growing. Thus commodity is just merely a correction.

Jim Rogers mentioned a lot about investing in commodities but my number 1 theme is infrastructure globally.

Look for those with exposure to outside markets like Middle East, China and other overseas market. Local construction stocks with only exposure to local market may not be so attractive in my opinion.

Construction, which is suppose to be the booming sector, take a big hitduring past few months. Every one of them is a good buy, for me, i rather go for those over sold like unifiber.... will prove to be a high profit buy now if market turn round....

Do you mean that other counters aren't realistic? Risky counters could also be realistic you know! Cheers!

Realistic counter to invest in. Some are just too risky.

Low p/e does not mean anything these days, there are so too many stocks that are trading at single digit p/es now...

Lets go back to basic again:

2007 EPS = 9.3 cts
Todays price = 61cts

therefore PE = 61/9.3 = 6.6 (very cheap, but nobody is chasing it! Why?)

Maybe have to look into 2008/9 earnings. Anyone know how to estimate?

I think it is quite cheap now.
