so its not so bad after all..look at the bright side..volumes n prices will pick up after dat in july..n if interest hikes concerns go away..things can onli look brighter..:)

Fully agree w/U, world cup fever coming memm... million of ppl will be watching, sure felt sleepish, so is shares and stocks.
The market suffered from low volumes and fell during previous World Cups. Fell during 2002. Fell during 1998 which was also the Asian financial crisis.
From previous world cup seasons, world stock markets' trading volume became very thin.

To a certain extend yes. Many punters bets in world cup. Many will lose money. To rise money to pay for the losses, they will move likely sell their stock at what ever price the market willing to pay..so get ready for bargin hunting!
