Any insights for this counter?
Their hotels are impressive, no doubt about it. How about the share price?
Any comment, anyone?
Seems to have moved up quite a bit today. Any good news for this counter?
BanyanTree has been traded between 87.5 to 94....Good range to trading.
Good..
And don't forget to buy back on weakness...

I keep selling on strength.

Despite of bad market sentiment, TA still works well. BanyanTree is now at 0.9.

my boss ask what this different from banana tree.... got gold izzit.... hehe....

Lookout for tomorrow breakout uptrend. This is a possible bullish counter if we use swing trading with price patterns.
This is just my view. Do Your Own Due Diligence.

my boss ask... y this one worth so much.... got gold izzit.... hehe...

Considering this intelligent guess, I think is possible since launch price during IPO was much higher.

Check SGX website, there isn't big shareholder movement in last 2 days.
Dunno what's driving this stock as well...but took profit yesterday at 93.5cts at 5pm. Maybe Mr Ho is mopping up to take it private. Thanks for the $$$ anyway. This stock is good for LT i believe. Post IPO has not dropped below 80cts.
Hits 97 cents at noon. Up and up...
Banyan up 11.5 cents. Any reason? Thanks.

Banyan Tree made Q2 net loss of S$4.2mil |
Luxury resorts operator Banyan Tree’s quarterly earnings have slipped into the red. It said today that it made a net loss of 4.2 million dollars in the second-quarter ended in June. This compares with a net profit of 3.5 million dollars over the same period a year ago. But Banyan Tree still managed to remain profitable for the first half this year, reaping a net income of 1 million dollars. That’s down 95 percent compared to the 18.9 million dollars of net profit made over the same period last year. Revenue for the second quarter fell 44 percent to 59.8 million dollars. Banyan Tree says demand for its rooms dropped due to the global economic crisis, the H1N1 flu pandemic as well as political unrest in Thailand. Going forward, it expects results in the current quarter to be better, though it cautions it could still be unprofitable given that the period is a traditional low season. |
at this price so tempting also....
When look at the chaos at Thailand, I'm thinking about this counter but the price seem like relatively stable.
