SINGAPORE, Sept 17 (Reuters) - Marine fuels supplier Chemoil Energy (CHEL.SI: Quote, Profile , Research) said on Monday that its third-quarter profit after tax would be affected by volatile conditions in the petroleum and energy futures markets.
The firm said it had also incurred interim losses from its global supply operations.
"The recent widespread market volatility created a challenging environment for managing the group's overall inventory exposure," Chemoil said in a statement.
The company added that its fourth-quarter performance would improve from the second and third quarters.
