Its fine now after I wrote to you. Things do break down once in a while sometimes just to 'help slow things down' so that we can take time to look at the market from a bigger perspective. :)
Dun fret on it really, do some other thing more worthwhile. :)
cannot even access after entering ID and password, maybe it take 1 hr to authenicate. one thing good of ocbc remiser is they take your order and charge you at internet price.
any body here using iocbc, i pity you and your remiser, ask your remiser to propose to the top management to restructure the IT team. if you do not wish to have heart attack, subscribe for other trading house portal and use ocbc portal as spare tyre. when market is good portal down, when market is bad portal oso down. the only time the portal is up is during satursday, sunday and public hoilday.
Pension,
it takes a while for iOCBC authentication to get thru. I observed the same for just today. Once you are pass that, the java streaming will starts and its fine. Its just the authentication part.
It appears though they are great in money stuff, their IT aspect is apparently not up to it yet...
many of my friends just check with me about ocbc portal this morning, i tested the portal and cannot login, call customer service, the line hangup, i advise them to subscribe for peom, lim & Tan, philip and uob.
iocbc is a damn lousy portal, it is down now.
I used Poem and Gohdirect...I prefer the latter...More user friendly.
OCBC's SMS service for daily individual stock SGX submissions and order executed messages are excellent!...
...

a good portal should be stable, provide free alert for prices, free bid queue information and T.A charts.
Yup... hehehe... :)
me too...we all need backups...
Hi Mani,
I agree with you that Poems is pretty good. I have little complaints about their service or reliability although I know that many people here have alternative views.
I just wanted to have a backup platform.
I think Phillips should put all their improvement efforts into making itself the on-line trading standard for others to follow.
In terms of user-friendliness, their very user-friendly POEMS trading and user interface is simply superb... The feel is great when one uses it...
it's very unlike some others that I have used. ..
Hi cyjjerry85,
Oh... I didn't know that etrade doesn't allow SGX shares. I had the impression that it was... Are you subscribed to it?
ketrade.com.sg for me.
How much $$ does it cost?
etrade.com.sg looks good but they don't allow local SGX trades...
i just went for the Invest Fair 2007 at Suntec Convention today...and previewed on the TA charts that IgMarkets.com platform provide...its pretty comprehensive and looks great! for active traders...you should check out their intra-day charts...definitely not a dull one that Kayhian, Lim&Tan, POEMS, CIMB...etc provide...theirs really so much more professional
Maybe I'll try it later..
Right now, I am quite satisfied with POEMS' service and their online trading interface, etc...
which is a joy to use... I find it very good....
Hi Mani,
Yah.. I currently only use Poems. I'm inclined to give etrade a try. I have checked out their demo from the website and it looks impressive.
Value for money, Lim & Tan is the best because of NTUC points.
