Oened below ipo price???

cashcom, u really got the guts to meddle with this speculative counter sia.. Anyway, good to adopt a cut loss strategy and need not regret if the counter goes up again. Its always important to be discipline and preserve yr capital.

Yori272, I did not only sold off all the lots but even short sell it at 1.41. I suppose today is not my day. Very sad.

never got the right timing to sell off...it seem like going up again.....hope is not false alarm....BB juz playing it again...

 

How do you know that the broking house did not short sell and implement the curb to force the price down?

 

I let go all at the price of 1.41. I think better not wait. Cannot take the pressure.

 

After this restriction, more people lost in this counter in a sudden. Maybe some who played contra for this period of time encounter depress feeling. No point blaming at this moment of time. Why not we pray that it will go up or buy more to support it?

 

The broking houses have to protect themselves for stocks that have gone up too much and too fast. Uni-asia has gone up 400% from the ipo price of 55c. The stock is too speculative. Most are buying beyond their means and in large quantities. Should the market sunddenly crash or corrects, all the contra players can't pay for their losses and the broking firms will suffer losses. That's why they will have to impose restrictions for any stock that is over speculative, overbought and overvalued.

 

good and bad...lucky poems did not restricted client on this stocks.but then again..if restricted..it might just save me on my losses..and i wont trade...so is good and bad. depends

 

should blame the broking houses who imposed  unnecessary restriction. its unfair to uni-asia investor. how do u think guys? should sgx standing out to say something about wrong doing frm broking houses?   

 

Eventhough that the price now has drop to 1.38 but I think and hope it will go up to 1.78 by end of today. Well, wish those who had bought this counter including myself all the best. Good good luck will come to Uni-Asia. :)

Hmm.. chan, I think its best you study the fundamentals of the stock and decide yourself.. You can read about its finances at http://stocks.us.reuters.com/stocks/balanceSheet.asp?symbol=UAFC.SI&WTmodLOC=L2-LeftNav-17-FinancialStatements&period=A It is trading at PE ratio of 15, and price/book ratio slightly high at 3. Its business in shipping and properties financing are postive... and it has shown 91% increase in net profit for the 1st half this year. Persoanlly, I think the stock has shot up too high, but after correction may grow again.. However, one has to do its homework before investing... and be sure of the decision you make. With all the bad news now, there are still a lot of uncertainties...

 

Not just contra player. Some with cash also scared. A selldown of lots of CFD players are causing a big drop. Not sure still want to short? How about you people?

 

past is past. the most important we know how to cut loss. pity viruz7667, as u knw this is the way they wan to kill all those ppl without cash money to buy the stock.this week will force selling....uni-asia will take time to recover.if u r rich in $,can buy back the cheaper price.im sure the price will go back to the price which belongs to UNI-ASIA. most of the ppl get caught and throw the price like crazy...we fullfiled the BIG fish,contra player sure cannot "tahan"...   good luck to u cashcomstock..    and all the best.

 

guess i got weak heart, better stay away from this stock for now as within a day make a total loss of almost 9k.....

 

wakau, i never realized this counter one month ago only 0.60 cents, wow... that's like 400% gain up to 2.60 level last week, amazing !!!!!! this kinda stock, surely free drop if STI drop dramatically... tomorrow, can short this ~

 

I bought 20 lots this morning at 1.82. Hope the price will increase back. I agree with Yori272. Perhaps it will go up soon. All the best to those who bought this counter today.

 

dun panic...   dun get caught of the rumours to get down the price. can buy in for cheaper price for long term invest. too bad i get burn abit what i've earned frm this counter. overall i never lose frm my capital, but i learn the lesson frm this counter. terrible shortist for UNI-ASIA...very bad to kill all those contra players.
