why you posted so early? My broker ask me wait until the final meeting result on 22March
The day after I posted the yellow form, SGX removed the MAP Tech shares from my CDP account le.. so efficient..
On 21 Feb 11 I sold 150 lots MAP at 6.5 cents and bought 15 lots Golden Agri at 64 cents .
Today I sold off the 15 lots Golden Agri at 71 cents, Saved myself the hassle of waiting for the yellow envelope.
Also made some money after settling brokerage charges.
Hope some of you also did that when I wrote on 21 Feb 11

Even the envelope included for return must paste stamp one.
Usually included return envelope are prepaid stamp.

Funny thing is, why share holders have not approved but they already proceed to get shareholders to sell back to them.
The other thing is, this stupid regulation, since they are buying from majority shareholders and try to buy backk all to delist, and minority via vote cannot disaaprove the deal. so whats the point of going thru a EGM just for formality. Since via voting, minority holder will not win their objectio even if they have objection.
Is it they sent the form in before the meeting indicate that they sure win ?
what if, they do a U-turn, like the last attempt to list in Taiwan , after that the price shot up and later it was not approve by Taiwan - they acted knowing that they don't qualify ?
The requirement to list in taiwan Bourse is that, there should not be previous looses. Despite knowing they still proceed.... and no one can question them.
yes, i am also receive that yellow form, is it any other way or just accept the exit offer? there are still got meeting on 22 March 2011. Btw why nobody buy at 0.07 since the exit offer price is on 0.0715.
it's a yellow colour form together with the package. if you want to accept the exit offer, you must mail back that yellow colour form.. if it is not inside your package, u need to ask CDP for it..

Why I did not hv the acceptance forms ??? Only got circular & exit letter. They want me to continue to be long term investor ?
so the delist price = 0.0715?
Received the exit offer package today. Even the return envelope for the exit offer I have to put postage stamps myself, not business reply envelope. Pathetic.
It is better not to wait and hope.
I opted to sell all my MAP at buyers price 6.5 cents and switch the capital to Golden Agri at 64 cents. What are the chances you can sell MAP at 7 cents? Hardly ! What are the chances that Golden Agri can jump to 7.15 cents soon ?
Imagine this stock now hit 200 MA low level and was high at 83 cents. Oil prices in Asia hit US$103 and Palm Oil futures are also up. No reason why Golden Agri will not rebound fast. Short sellers are also staying away already since volume is also low. Timing may just be right to do that switch and control the play rather than wait and hope for others to control the play.
Sell at 6.5 cents and buy at 64 cents, still can cover some brokerage.

Now I guess have to wait and see. Hopefully the small shareholders like me can stand together and who knows can get better payout. Chances are slim but who know something can happen. Just hope for the best. Gong Xi Fa Cai everyone.

So holders will get their offer to sell their shares back to the owner ?
Will We get noticed from SGX or the compoany directly ?
and any idea when will be the deadline ?
In a way, the CEO never kept his promised. He should apologies to all long holders whom look forward to the dividents due to his assurance.
Want to exit at least reward the holders whom stick to you thru your bad times. Now that you are starting to make profits, you want to get out of the trading market. and earlier say , holder will thanks him for dividents and say "good company give dividents" so what now ? :(
With no dividen declare but today still got lot of buying at $0.07. The offer only $0.715. Some hidden issue?

i still have some, there is nothing that you can do, but you can choose not to sell to them and continue to be a share holder and hope one day they will re-list again. like it or not, minority share holders are always at the loosing end, like the stupid spice i2i, i kana big time also.
Why not they offer to RTO to compay whom keen to be listed on SGX..let the company remain... the new company can change their type of business..and later proposed to change name..and Map after take their cash from RTO offer... can do whatever they want anywhere and whatever they want..
Like that a win win.. maybe the new RTO company make good the share price... some foreign oil RIG builders or some big players.... just take over Map.... :)
can some Map share holders share some frank opinion please.

looking back, late 2008 hit 52 cents ? based on the post below :)
now 7 cents...........proposed delist offer only 7.15 cents.
Maybe 20cents fair deal. - no devidents also ok :)
