8cent refer to 2007 div which last year. This year dun hav. They just spend 50million on buses according to the balance sheet latest Qtr annouce. Based on my thinking, it is unlikely to give alot of div next qtr as it will be trying to built back some of the cash hoard. left 11m

The 3Q report is out, and they declared no dividend been reported. But I read that there is a special dividend of 8 cents, but don't understand whether it is referring to now or last year. I'm glueless about financial report, do we have any dividends (whether special or final or anythinG) that we can look forward to for Christmas?

Don't be discouraged. It is a good stocks. I do not have but intend to keep some later on.
WB said if it is a good stocks, you can add along the way to average down. People are dumping without considering its intrinsic value and potential.

SBSTransit is going to announce its 3rd Quarter financial report on 12-Nov. Hopefully they would announce a special dividend or something. Sigh, thought SBS Transit is a safe stock, my stock value is down ~30%.

I guess its due to a reduction in dividend. Was looking through the past dividends on SGX for this one and realised its lower this year.

SMRT also drop - market sentiments. Bear market is price dropping like great singapore sales. Dun worry. I cannot imagine singapore road without SBS buses. How people to go work?

If you are not sellling due to short of cash, paper loss is common in bear market.

Look at Mr Kwek 1billion in paper loss, still driving his royce and donating millions.

SBS Transit has dropped to $1.6+. Very puzzled really of the slide (no bad news from SBS). Any insider information on why the slide?

Thanks in advance. Sigh.

Still ok la from $3 fall to $2 , you just compare with others counter like Yanlord from $4 to $1 and SGX $16 to $ 6 !!

On my goodness, why is  the SBS Transits stock falling like nobody's business?! Damn, sitting on paper loss so far, and the feeling wasn't good.

Yeah, profit may be affected. But keep it for dividend play lah. Even if it dropped it is may still have good return.

Buses services in Spore are going to revamp to provide better and much efficient services to All commuters. Couples with fuel hikes, profit return is a teething issue.

SMRT is less susceptible to bus routes variation, as it got MRT as its profit front runner.

BTW, too many taxi on the road also pose profit issue to the coy as well.
