In 2004, the stock dropped ex-dividend as the dividend was factored in the price b4 ex. In 2005, the stock didn't drop ex-dividend as the priceb4 ex did not factor in the dividend. However, it did drop for a while not long after ex-dividend, and rebounded very quickly. A stock would normally drop in price ex-dividend if the price b4 ex had factored in the dividend. The sell volume has been lower than the buy volume and holding well at almost the same price levels since CD. The stock has been languishing most of the time at below 50 cents since March 2004 after ex-dividend. It shd be OK to accumulate it progressively at current price levels b4 ex and after ex, unless one is a day trader out to make a fast buck. Your assurance - this company is unlikely to go bust and is not a speculative counter.

Not too sure about this leh.... the stock is already CD... which means that the price of the stock now should already have "accumulated" the dividend yield. When it goes XD, the stock price usually falls by that value also... so I'm not too sure if its still timely to go in for this one.

Grossly undervalued despite growing business, being profitable and its attractive dividend yield every year. Only "fools" who think they are the only ones financially strong will "squat" in the buy queue every day hoping to buy low. Its attractive dividend yield of $30 per 1000 shares costing $465 (ex soon on 4 May 2006)offers a better return than the meagre 1% interest on savings deposits. Strike while the iron is hot.
