Hi Chinchye, no problem,

good luck, i can see that you are one who looks into financial statements, me too. Smiley

i will continue to hold this counter for mid term or if it reaches my target price of 68 cents without significant increase in revenue.

If by then i see that it still has potential, i will continue holding as this company is well-managed and treats its minority shareholders relatively well. yes, i like this company.

you might like to check out asiapower and valuetronics, i personally find this 2 counters not bad too.

Equation got my interest but i took profit when it went up too fast. Whew, thank God i was not too greedy.

Launching...mid term target S$0.73. Look at all the facts in front of you. No way this counter will not break out.

Solid like a rock counter but either not moving or creeping up slowly. Really baffles me when speculative counters take center stage. Only consolation is that looking long term this is definitely the right counter, and if there is any correction, this counter will be least affected because of its strong fundamentals.

Hi Chin chye, i think you brought out a valid point of the high gearing ratio of the company.

They do operate in a high leverage. There might be some problems if steel prices do correct sharply, but the current trend of steel prices given the global demand can be said as a definite rise. meaning the inventory of Hg will only appreciate in value.

Dow Jones Index hit a high of 283.86 (2.09%) last nite.

This should get most stocks moving today.

Where you read about the high debt? What is the gearing?

Its aldy hit the 3rd wave of fabonici at 0.525, the next support value should be around at 0.45 ~0.47.

after that it will go all the way up to about 0.70. for long term play.

Hmm... i think this company has a high debt... borrow too much to leverage... correct me if i am wrong... any correction in steel... might pose a problem for the company to return its debt...

1.5cents chinchye opinion...

Cheers,

Anything. Smiley

Understand the financial performance of the company; understand the company as whole, know what are the projects that they are undertaking or in the pipeline, their expansion plans, the company's direction, the industry that they are in, where the industry is heading , is it in line with the growth plans for Singapore and in the region(s) that they are vested in, etc.

Selling of shares by major shareholder(s) in the company is not, by any means, an indication on the health or future of the company.

The sales of shares by major shareholders may cause nervousness which one can fully understand but we should not just look only at the surface. Lets look deeper.

I believe ryantka has provided some valid reasons why the major shareholder sold at its high.

Also there is difference between investers and punters. Investors realize the potential of the company and is prepared to park their money in the company they believe in. Punters cash out as soon as their target price is met. They are not in for the long term.

I am not into the technicals as TA, etc. but fundmentally I do read up on the Company where I park my money in. Afterall it is hard earned money.

Hope the above helps.

Everybody has their own rights to make whatever decision they want to take. What we share are just our thoughts and we hope it helps.
