ValueMax is latest pawnbroker to eye SGX listing with 17 outlets lodges preliminary prospectus on Sept 30 - no price indicated.
ValueMax's net profit grew 11.2% to $14.3 mil from 2010 till last year, on the back of a 27.8% rise in revenue to $509 mil. Pawnbrokering constituted about 72.6% gross profit between 2010 n March 31 this year.
Offer oni at $0.25cents...Tua tua tan tan...ARHH.

ASIAPHOS Limited, a Singapore-based explorer and miner of phosphate in China, hopes to raise about $24.4 million in an initial public offering (IPO) on the Catalist board.
It is offering 122 million shares, comprising 97.6 million new shares and 24.4 million vendor shares, at 25 cents each, chief executive Ong Hian Eng said at a briefing yesterday.
The company, which started almost two decades ago as a producer of phosphate-based chemical products in Sichuan province, China, owns exploration and mining rights to two mines with a total permit area of 5.5 square kilometres.
No public offering? No wonder so quite.

[PETALING JAYA] Berjaya Sports Toto Bhd (BToto) will list its business trust early in the fourth quarter of this year, a top official said.
Freddie Pang Hock Cheng, who is executive director of Berjaya Group and BToto, said all approvals had been obtained for the listing of Sports Toto Malaysia Trust (STM-Trust).
" Singapore would be the primary listing. We intend to seek a secondary listing on Bursa Malaysia," he told StarBiz in response to email queries.
BToto, which is in the numbers forecasting business, had said last December that it had received a conditional eligibility-to-list or ELT letter from the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Ltd (SGX-ST) for the listing of the STM-Trust on the main board.

Refreshing reminder....is all about risk appetite..There is many kind and type of Players --mainly pessimistic or other type optimistic.
many try, many fail and yet many paid heavily to learn....humm.
Got profit take some n always leave some, losses..??. learn to cut loss.
buying shr that one can afford to loss or hold and not to loss over sleep. or
Missed boat or profit had been taken?, there is always next opportunities.
