Woww over subscribed by 10.9x, oso several BBs got 13mil share under placement tranche. No wonder placement is long over subscribe by 10x oso. It is going to be red hot again.

zhirong_thann (2nd note). As Eastonbay said, Contra is only when you have not pay up money for the shares and you sold off within 3 days.
when you sell off when trading online, do not need to tick 'Contra' in poems (or whatever platform u using). If you really play Contra next time in other stocks (my advise is better not, tend to loss money big time if anything happen, esp most are not willing to cut loss n wait, or don't know when to cut loss), you will receive a extra Contra statement letter in your mailbox.
if u really so forgetful to pick 'Contra' in the poems and the share is already sell off, just call ur broker on the same day n he will help you to tick 'contra' in his trading system for u.
zhirong_thann, stock learning is a never-ending journey. don't read the cheem TA books first. my advise for you is to spend abt $18 plus to buy "Handbook for Stock Investors" by Goh Kheng Chuan to read it as a first book, this book is good enough to cover enough as a beginner guide. it also teach some basic FA and TA in this book.
as times goes by, you may want to suscribe The Edge magazine or etc.
u really lucky to get the IPOs, fortunegal tried about 3 or 4 IPOs this year before and didn't got any.

zhirong, don't mean to be rude. I think you really need to go and get a book like invest 101, A Beginner's guide to Share Investment etc, that gives basic investment knowledge. To learn, what is IPO, contra, short selling etc etc. Just basic knowledge.
See, you already paid for the ipo (when you apply for it), why then will it be contra? Contra is a situation when you buy, haven't settled i.e. haven't paid and decided to sell. Therefore you need not come up with capital. You are paid the profit by the brokerage co. or just settle/pay the brokerage if it is a loss.
To think that you actually got 2 lots at your very first IPO, it is very lucky... it is not miserable!!! Congrats!

Anyone know when the results of the ipo be release? What website to access the result? The subscription for this IPO? Is it over subscripe? By how many times?

PE of 20 too high for this one. China Ipos PE usually range from 5 to 10 due to all the risks. To forgo this one & subscribe for China Print instead.
Thats pretty true that there are many new rich in spore as well. Happen to be my uni mates and they plan to earn $$$ and in time move to a proper condo. PE ratio is a gauge but the potential is there. Hope that we are even lucky to get a few lots. Going to place my bets tomorrow morn b4 application close at 12noon.
