It was sharply higher after announcing that its unit CEL Development and WP Mauritius Holdings have entered into a joint venture agreement for a residential property development project here, dealers said.

The 50-50 JV CES-West Coast Pte Ltd (CESW) will develop Westpeak Condominium, which was acquired in April for $206.09m. The JV company will engage Chip Eng Seng Contractors, another unit of Chip Eng Seng, as the main contractor to design and build the project.

Today CES is top vol. Looks like second liners of property stocks look cheap compared to WingTai , HPL, CDL etc...

It's buoyed by prospects of strong demand in the construction sector. It has also transformed into a high-end and mid-tier residential developer. Westcomb has a target price of $0.30.

This is one of the last few property counters that hav not really moved. Ho Bee has gone up quite a fair bit so now CES should follow suit.

hey jessie,

Don't be too bothered by day-to-day price movements. It'll drive you crazy. Look for trend and follow it.

I held on to this stock for so many years and finally cut loss last week. Sold at 18 cents.... It seems that every time after I sell a stock, then price starts to move up... Still got long way to pick up the trading techniques....

Caution.

Go long on stock. Breakout possible in the mid term between 4-8 months. Short terms sees slight volatility as 'weaks' back out during the next 1-4 weeks up till dividend payout. Price drops of to $0.185 will not be uncommon. This will be the best opportunity to accumulate low.

Today's intra-day resistance (23rd, tue) at around $0.200.

If today's close is at $0.205, then tomorrow's resistance will be at $0.210.

Resistance at $0.200. Buy at $0.205 or $0.210.

Much upside adhead, plus high dividends payout.

I read their report and it says that it expects profits this year. Looking at the chart, its valley seems to be on an upward trend, signifying bullish character. I wonder if it will go above $0.50 by year end.
