I think pple then are just too optimistic about of any new company.  I sold Kinergy at 64cts, two days after IPO because I calculated that the PE of 25 years is too high.  I also sold Cityspring a week after IPO at 1.54 because I thought, if cityspring yield is 4% then 64 cts profit is equivalent to 21 years of interest yield payment......

hmmm, it seems some counters never gain its peak compared to its value after released out in market (IPO).

Is it true....cos unionmet and kinergy seem to prove above comment...

They only make USD1.9M at half time.  The PE looks like 23 years. The stock will tends to move toward 17cts, about the same as the NAV of the company.

Currenly market situation, PE more than 15 is hard to stomach. I guess....

Hope I'm wrong....

Like sunvic counter is likely to drop further..switch to jade and ride up its gains from 22.5cts to 25..to 30..35..>40cts b4 trading halt for attractively priced rights cum warrants issue to fund its $1.3billion oil futures contracts, new IT venture and contracts to build entire township in malaysia..top vol of 160m as at 12noon after convincingly broken the 21cts barrier and heading new highs.FA and TA wise..look to soar further in next 2 weeks

bad news again. 2nd quarter with less profits compare to prev yr, although sales up.
but since this counter favourite of contras and shorts , any bad news sure sign of weakness.
i exited out with loss as dont see much movement to 60s in next 2 months.

no the news they announced is they are 1 of 14 companies given license to export Indium
they have not mentioned how much quota they can license.

it can chiong up if any of the analyst companys rerate it soon since the export can mean more revenue upside.

yammay74,

i think good news for u soon. unionmet finally announced some good news much before their 1st half results.

if an analyst does a report re-rating the stock, it can go higher but i strongly feel it should enter the 60s easily in the next week  unless all the Markets go down big.

i did a reentry again at 0.545 . good luck  to all

most pple including me was strongly cajoled to buy Unionmet and Sunvic when both counters were about 88 cents.he was probably paid by BB to promote these 2 counters to retailers so the BB can offload..lucky to cut loss at 70 cents..very painful but recover by using the $ to invest and manage to breaK even

i get daily reports from my POEMS remisier.
i remember one of them was on UnionMet's 1st quarter profit
which was less than last yr's 1st quarter profit.
whenever profit less than last yr , market does not like it .
i think if u can tahan for 1 or 2 more months, should consider staying. 56 cents not that bad, solid support at 50 cents.
if 1st half results okay counter should be back in 60 cents atleast.
i remember i had brought at 58 and sold at 64 . this counter very volatile, so if u not a long-term player, best to buy n sell fast.
2nd quarter results should be around 10 to 20 july i think.
good luck, i will consider entering only if crossing 59

first quarter results were not very good. less than market expectations. thats why BB brought the counter down

from 60s all the way back to 50 - 52 cents.

50 cents is solid support for this counter.

i think it might trade there for some time before BB decides to move it back up to 60s.
if 1st half results decent, thats when it might really start moving.
